Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) seems to be uncommon in CIB condition, which is strange given it's a launch title for the Xbox 360, and it's the best-selling NFS game by far (16 million), that's not for one system (it came out on a bunch), but still. Then again it's the best-looking version, even beating the PC version. It's something I need to grab before it starts going for like $50+.

I see this game all the time and for good reason; it was a launch title and given its success on the PS2 and XBOX they printed the hell out of this game. Hardly rare or even uncommon

I very rarely see it. At least around here....it's not even close to common.

If you are going for a complete NA run, El Chavo Kart will be the toughest. It was a Mexico only release, and could run you a few hundred bucks.

F1 2013
Monster Jam
Asterix
Cars Mater National Championship

are a few I've never seen

I'm still kicking myself over this one...Maybe a year, year and a half ago...the makers of El Chavo Cart had an Amazon store....and were selling new copies for $19.99. Right now there are only 2 copies on there.....and both are $250.00. That was a tough one since it's a Mexican Exclusive. Hell, I live right by Mexico and I've never seen a copy, lol.

I have a few other titles I've never seen, but are usually on Amazon for pricy amounts (I don't use Ebay).
Amazon tends to be more expensive than Ebay when it comes to games

I know, but I don't use ebay myself. That said, at least Amazon has the Xbox version...there are zero on ebay right now. Either way, kicking myself for not picking it up when I had the chance.

I still have my first NES from the Deluxe Set I got Christmas of 1987. That's the one that I've had the longest.

I think I got a deluxe set right around the same time as you. Still have it, still works. I also still have my Atari 2600 I got in 1981 or so ($250 used with 4 games....that was a big deal for a struggling family). I haven't tried that Console since the 80's, but it's still at my folks house. I do have a working 2600 mini (late 80's model) that works fine...that's why I haven't touched my original 2600 in @30 years. All Atari stuff is in storage though...NES is here with me and hooked up every so often.

I know very little about Far Cry 5 because I don't watch those videos. The only one I watched the announcement trailer quite awhile ago. I know...Montana...Cult....and now bears.

I’m on my second one.
The first lasted a little while, but got the RROD while I was playing Half-Life 2. Sent it to Microsoft and they replaced it for free.

What’s so funny to me is in the meantime, I received Batman Arkham Asylum for Christmas and started playing it immediately after I got the new 360. I got to the point where Scarecrow starts screwing with your head by making the game mess up, and it was so soon after my last 360 crapped out I thought it was doing it again. Then the game restarted with Joker driving Batman to the Asylum...
I’ll never forget that moment. Holy crap, I’ve never had a game mess with me like that, it was great :D
One of the reasons B:AA is one of my favorite games ever.

I thought my Xbox was crapping out during that scene as well. I think I restarted the system before realizing what was happening :D

I got my 1st in Oct 2010, I'm on my 2nd now. The 1st one still works, but the disc drive is shot. I used to use it for my digital arcade titles, until it presented me with the RROD (The RROD wasn't actually my console dying, it was my aftermarket Hard Drive dying) The console still works fine outside of the disc drive, but I moved my games to an external HD and use it with my console #2. Console #2 runs a little slow sometimes, but still gets the job done. I have a 3rd still in the box ready for when #2 goes.

That said, I'm on my 4th Xbox One (3 faulty disc drives within 1 year with the original model, finally gave up and bought a slim, which had been great).

He was selling an Xbox One (standard version with dust)  for 700 USD lol.  Not so bad though because he said it came with 300 games. 300!!!  Holy cow.  I was estatic to see if I could negotiate and aquire such a set :).  But than came to find the wool had been pulled over my eyes by yet another digital library guy. :(

Wait...you thought this was a Xbox One with 300 Physical games for $700....and we were ready to negotiate? I thought gamestop was cheap.

I think Best Buy will have it soon as well, I was on their site and they have 39.99 1-year PSN sub's, but they say "Coming soon"

Classic Video Games / Re: Do you put your game discs inside a disc wallet?
« on: November 19, 2017, 08:04:18 pm »

If you were just to keep your discs in a normal enviroment disc rot should not be a problem at all.

I have CD's I've had since the late 80's, which spent the better part of the 90's in giant CD wallets/books, and I've never had a single one with disc rot. Of course, they are stored indoors. In fact, the only time I've ever even seen disc rot was with a game I bought at Gamestop last year (Which I promptly returned)

Had a neat little find last Friday for $20.  Not terrible at all these days.

Megaman X5
Megaman 8
Star Wars: Dark Forces
Dragonball Z: Ultimate Battle 22

Red GBA SP

I left a few laying yesterday.  It was a $20 group of 5 PS2 games that GoodWill wouldn't break up.  Megaman X7 and Marvel Vs Capcom 2 were in there but Marvel Vs Capcom was in a generic case.  They wouldn't even let me open them to make sure the disc was there.  I left them for the next guy.
That's just shit.  One of my Goodwills tried that shit and I flipped my shit on the manager because they have their policy about no returns AND they won't let me look at what I'm buying before I buy it.  Cases were all empty.

Wow, so Goodwill is now forcing people to buy games on good faith and not letting them return it if the disks look like they were used as a coaster, much less if the disk is actually in there? I knew Goodwill was a sham charity group and they've become greedy as all hell, but this is some scam artist BS right here.
Goodwill is a corporation

Supposed to be a non-profit business. You know, a charity of sorts. Yet, of all the donations they receive, video games are the one thing they like to gouge people on.

They are a 100% for profit company, nothing goes to charity. I know their name implies that- but they support nothing but making money on donations.
