Neat.  I might need to give that a try some day.

If you have any questions hit me up! I had to use info from several different sources, I couldn't really find all the info I needed on one site.

So today was kinda dead at work and since I'm working from home, I decided now would be a great time to clean my PS2 slim. This thing has been making all sorts of noise and sometimes it'll act like I removed the disc in the middle of playing. So I pulled it apart and honestly, it really wasn't that dirty, however I did notice that the grease on the lens rail and lens motor was kinda gross and looked worn down. I've taken apart and cleaned my fair share of consoles before, but the one thing I've never done is mess with the laser assembly, been to nervous to mess with it. I just happened to have some silicon grease laying around from dreamcast controller repairs I've been doing so I figured now is as good a time as any to try to figure this out. I spent a good 2 hours reading about the tear down of the entire lens assembly and then about 30 minutes breaking it all down, cleaning, and reassembling with fresh grease, and to my surprise everything came out great! the drive is almost dead silent, you can still hear the disc spinning but the grinding that the motor and assembly was making is totally gone. I know this was pretty long winded and kinda pointless lol but I was really excited and needed to share it with someone who might care.. the wife sure wouldn't haha.

10. Sonic Adventure 2 (Dreamcast) - 3/22
The whole time I was playing the first Sonic Adventure, I was thinking to myself just how much I hated the “open world” part of the game. 15 minutes into Sonic Adventure 2 and I was sad they took it out. Even though the game just felt like it was missing something, it was still a ton of fun; the controls were better, the camera was betterish, and the levels were better. Everything was just a step up from the previous game. Beat 3/22

11. Horizon Zero Dawn (PS4) - 3/29
I really wanted to love this game, I had planned on going for a platinum trophy on it, but for some reason I couldn’t get into it. It wasn’t a bad game at all, it was actually pretty good; I just didn’t connect with it like I did God of War or Last of Us, it felt a little disconnected at points and I had trouble playing it for long sessions. Beat 3/30

I think the virus has the POTENTIAL to disrupt our lives and change the way we live forever to be honest. If it continues to spread, we'll see more Americans that have the ability to work from home actually doing so, and companies will start to learn that those once so important meetings actually can be summed up in an email. Jobs in the retail/service industries could change as well, people may be less likely to go out shopping if they don't have to and start shopping more online; there would still be a need for grocery stores and other essential services but for stores like gamestop (which is already on its way out) that specialize in one particular type of item, this could be the final nail in the coffin.

Personally, I had been contemplating switching over to digital only when this next generation of consoles comes out since I've been running out of physical space for my collection, but this just might be what pushes me over the edge. Only time will tell though.

9. Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast) - 3/8

I’m honestly not sure if loved this game or it was complete trash. On one hand it was innovative, taking Sonic into the world of 3D with fun levels, cool new abilities, and a pretty “rad” soundtrack; but on the other hand, the game was kinda broken as hell. I can’t even begin to count how many times I got stuck in a wall or fell through a level. Not to mention how badly the camera sucked, the Dreamcast really could have benefited from a second analog stick but I still managed to get through it.

8. Luigi's Mansion 3 (Switch) - 2/27

I’ll tell you what, Nintendo really knows how to make a game! Every damn floor gets better than the last! This game is just so charming. The amount of thought that was put into this game just blows my mind, every corner has something to find and the sound design is just perfect!

I couldn't find a feedback thread for droaa so here we go. Droaa reached out to me in response to a post I made looking for an original Xbox S-type controller. He happen to have one and gave me a totally fair price on it. The controller was packed well and shipped in a timely manner. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from droaa again! thanks man!

I haven't played many souls games, but I found Demon's souls to be relatively easy compared to the other ones if you want to start there. It was the perfect level of challenge for me

This is the only one of the Souls games that I haven't played, but I do have it.  I was afraid it would be too clunky or hard to get into.  I'll give it a shot soon!

I might have top do the same

7. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (PS4) - 2/13
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that this was the hardest game I’ve ever finished. I was a little hesitant going into this one since I’ve never really wanted to play a Dark Souls or really any Souls-like game. I just didn’t get the appeal; I mean what’s to like about just dying over and over again… But I’ll have to admit, I kinda get it now. There really is something satisfying about FINALLY just destroying that boss after like 20 attempts. So yea, I had a lot of fun with this one and it’s opened my eyes to possibly tying some other Souls-like games this year

If you're not opposed to it, you can use the $5 cert to get a $10 PSN/eShop card.  That's what I do every month.  So far $20 PSN and $10 eShop for $15 out of my pocket, and used PUR points to pay for my membership.  It's not great but it gets me digital money for half price.

I did this last month to pick up a few PSOne classics, might get some eshop cards too instead

Thinking about Ni No Kuni Remastered, Date A Live, and Mario and Sonic Tokyo.

Nice Picks, I for some stupid reason gave up on Ni No Kuni a long time ago and lately I've been wanting to dive back in so this is a great excuse for me.

Amazon has a Buy 2 get 1 free sale going on right now. Some decent stuff too. Picked up Sekiro, Code Vein, and Ni No Kuni Remastered.
