I accidentally uploaded the European front and back box images for Super Cobra for the Colecovision [NA] release: https://www.vgcollect.com/item/27925 (the cartridge image is correct)

An example of the [EU] release box art can be found here (item #971505 on spine):  https://www.ebay.com/itm/385663946414?

The appropriate [NA] images can be found here (item #9850 on spine):  https://www.colecoboxart.com/coleco_supercobra.htm

Should I submit image edits for the current entry, or should I create a new entry with the correct images and ask the mods to merge the entries?

I've removed front and back images for 27925. NA images will be approved if submitted. Thanks for catching that mistake (not just yours, but staff's) sooner rather than later.

I think this very likely should have the [UK] TLD in the title, based on my barcode research. I have a EU release of Wukong with a slightly different barcode and it seems like that one is the "general" EU release.

275023 has been updated to include a UK TLD.

Release date confirmed as 14 September 2023 by publisher/retailer.

Yes, I found that source too while responding to your edits. However, it is my understanding (if I'm in incorrect, let me know) that this item was not sold in brick-and-mortar stores but instead was a release exclusive to online storefronts. If that's the case, then no consumer would have had the item in-hand on that specific date of announcement. And since we can't verify any specific date when that may have been, the Day field should be omitted entirely while presuming that there was enough time in the rest of the month for people ordering the item to actually receive it before September ended.

I have questions regarding entry https://www.vgcollect.com/item/120284 for Mouse Trap [DE] for the Colecovision:

Front image art:  I can find no record anywhere of this box front style being sold for the Colecovision, and the image provided does not identify the compatible console that it is for.  In fact, it is very similar to the European CBS box styles released for the Intellivision.  An example can be found here:  https://www.ebay.de/itm/267124767714? and you will notice in this listing that the cellophane on the box is torn, and the console sticker is attached to the cellophane.  It's quite possible the image in the entry in question was uploaded from an intellivision box in which the cellophane has been removed thus also removing the console label.

Rear and Cartridge image:  This two images appear to be from the Australian release which is in the database here:  https://www.vgcollect.com/item/284551 and also here:  https://www.colecoboxart.com/coleco_mousetrap.htm .  Unfortunately, the image quality of the entry in question is poor, and the item #s can't be identified (would start with ACC if it's indeed Australian).  What I can say, is that the additional item #s on the cartridge image, CC241901 and 4L1988, match that reported by colecoboxart for the Australian release and also correspond to the item # on the box, ACC 241901

Thus, in my opinion, this entry is a Frankenstein entry with an Intellivision [EU] front image and a Colecovision [AU] back and cart image.  Since the title states that this is a German title, then it would correspond to:  https://www.vgcollect.com/item/284523 that I just recently uploaded.

I have questions regarding entry https://www.vgcollect.com/item/120284 for Mouse Trap [DE] for the Colecovision:

The front seems to be probably from a catalog scan. If you look at the Atari 2600 catalog scans, some are very similar:
https://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-mouse-trap_14104.html

The back and the cart look to be from here:
http://colecovision.dk/mouse-trap.htm

I will remove the front art, and if this version is not actually a [DE] (it was named as such due to the front art most likely) then we can change the TLD or make a descriptor as appropriate.

The cartridge image for https://vgcollect.com/item/97158 Zaxxon [UK] for the Intellivison [EU] has the cartridge image for the international version (cartridge # 4L2107) instead of the correct UK version (cartridge # 4L2108).   The current image also has an item # CI243503 on the label which is only on the international variant.

Examples of both the international and UK releases of this entry can be found here:  https://intvfunhouse.com/games/zaxx.php

And an example of the correct UK cartridge image can be found here as well:  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/226336501184?

I can submit the correct UK cart image (including the box image), but I wanted to inform the mods first before submitting the edit.

There's no problem for you to go ahead and make those changes. Thanks for the advance notice and correcting the error. Also, I've been curious where you've been gathering information from, so that's helpful to know as a reference point.

Edits to Zaxxon [UK] just submitted.  As for my sources of information for Intellivision, intvfunhouse.com is an excellent source for Intellivision information, both [NA] and [EU], as well as homebrews.  I then double check their listings with at least one, but optimally two, eBay listings by country, i.e. ebay.co.uk, ebay.fr, etc.  In some cases, eBay listings have better quality images, and more than likely will have an image of the back box image.  Other good resources for are:

intellivisionworld.com
https://mluenzer.home.ktk.de
Blue Sky Rangers (https://history.blueskyrangers.com)
Intellivision Collector (https://kamikazi26.synology.me/)
IntelligentVision (https://www.intellivision.us/index.php)
CollectorVision (https://collectorvision.com/games.php?systeme=intv#listofgames)

And, believe it or not, AtariAge.  The Intellivision forums on AtariAge is a wealth of information when it comes to finding release information, box and cart art, and just general history of titles that isn't necessarily captured by fan pages.  This is especially true for homebrew releases.

I almost failed to mention that North American and European on-line game retailers, retromtl.com for example, are also an excellent source for box and cartridge images.

Hope this helps
