PS2 Japanese ExclusiveGame Suggestions.

I just got a PSX (it's a fancy Japanese PS2) and atm only own one japanese game for it.
I'd like to get more games for it and would like people from the forum to suggest good Japanese Exclusive PS2 games to play on it.
I want to collect the games never released in the US and want to make a list of titles to watch for.

My top choice would definitely be the sequel to Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land (us NA gamers only got the 1st one released here) *IF* you like dungeon-crawler RPG's.

Also, I'd probably look into the "Enhanced", bonus, director's-cut, International, etc versions of some other games that I liked (like Shadow Hearts: Covenant & FF XII) that got JP only releases.

I do love dungeon crawlers, I'll add it to the list.
And while i do love collector's editions, I don't think I'll put games I already own the US version high on the list unless I find a good deal on them.

Do you have/have you played the NA-released Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land for the PS2?

If not, especially since you like dungeon-crawlers, I'd highly recommend it.

For the Gundam fanatic. Because you know the Japanese versions will be absolutely primo:

Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny: Generation of C.E. ]> Sequel 1 to Mobile Suit Gundam Seed: Never Ending Tommorrow
Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny: Federation vs. Zaft ]> Sequel 2
Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny: Rengou vs. Zaft II Plus ]> Sequel 3 and had a PSP version

In addition pick something you can relate to and thus have the motivation to learn the language faster.

This. If you don't understand Japanese, you'll mainly want to stick to shmups and fighting games, though there are some others that can be played with a translation patch or guide, too.

While I do collect japanese games, I don't read Japanese test. I usually play through trail and error.

No I heven't played the 1st Wizardry, It's on my list of games I'm looking for.

Well as Insektmute suggests then you'll be better off sticking to shmups (Mushihimesama, ESPgaluda) and fighting games (Matrimelee, Rumble Fish)
