Merged as dupe. This is not a situation where a second entry for the same thing would be made.
Ok, well to me that's weird for a collection site. I only own the game case and not the box collection, that is something I would want to keep track of visually in my list.
Also for being able to look up the game and find the version if came across secondhand.
Wouldn't that also include any game that is Not For Resale or Not to be Sold Separately and came within a box etc.?
But I will avoid these entries in the future.
There are limitations in the design of the site that we take into consideration. If/when we get the ability to link items together, to allow us to track individual parts, then we will certainly add those additional parts.
My personal opinion is that to allow entries for these additional parts, without a sorting mechanism (such as the ability for people to choose to hide the additional items if they didn't want to see them) it will only clutter up the game categories. The pack-in entries and variations are already causing this issue, so I'd personally not want to add to it.
NFR and unique pack-in games from hardware, accessories or multipacks are allowed separate entries because either the community wanted it or it was a rule implemented by an admin before we let the community decide (through voting) some things on the site.
