Christmas is almost here and everybody already knows what to do in this thread

My wife an I have exchanged Christmas gift lists for years and unfortunately for the past 5 or 6 years I've struggled to fill it with games I would actually get excited about if I received them as gifts. Part of this is because I have most of what I want, but the other part is I often just buy games I really want throughout the year, leaving few games for birthdays and Christmas for me to get excited about. This year has been different however. There are a ton of games I currently want to get and have decided for one reason or another to hold off on getting them. I believe there are currently about 20 games on my Christmas list and that number is growing as I dive deeper into games I may have missed out on or forgot even came out. Of course, whatever she ends up getting me won't show up until December's thread, but at least there are some excellent games on the horizon for me to receive!

With Code Violet being moved to December, there's nothing for me to buy this month.

Oddly... the game I expected to buy Q4 this year was Instinction, which was said to be a Dino Crisis spiritual successor, similar to that of Code Violet. It was supposed to release in 2021 and then they had millions poured into the project which the dev then delayed to 2025. At the start of the year, Hashbane (dev) stated they would release the game in Q4 2025. There's been no updates for months. I expect the game has become vaporware.

Just last week, Instinction's developers quietly confirmed that the game is still in development.

Just bought the Mario Galaxy bundle and Hollow Knight for the Switch, also Mario Odyssey, which seems to be the Saudi Arabian version, which doesn't appear to be on the database. On that note, I can't seem to figure out exactly what version of the N64 Pokemon Snap I own among the ones on the database.
