Those controllers DO look really sharp, but they're 3rd party right?  I've never heard of the company "PDP" - is their stuff any good?

I did not realize that either.  I need to read more.  I guess I will stick with the bundle so I can be sure to get an official Nintendo controller

Yeah I went with the bundle myself for Smash Bros.  The PDP ones look nicer, but the Smash Bros one is Nintendo official.

It's fitting I suppose, I own 2 controllers from last gen that have never actually been plugged into a system (the Slime controller & the RE chainsaw controller).  I needed at least one from this gen.

I actually came close to not pre-ordering this one (just because I don't prefer, don't want to encourage/set a precedent for, and/or enjoy supporting non-console Persona games) the

Persona Q LE and

as more of a spur-of-the-moment decision (w/o having done any research in the least); pre-purchase made in the spirit of

 "Let's try something new & different that looks fun"

I also went ahead & pre-ordered the

Professor Layton vs. Pheonix Wright game.

Now, (believe it or not) I've never played a single Layton and/or Pheonix Wright game *so*...

Just put in a preorder for the Limited Edition of Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus (which is the only physical version available) on the Vita. I am sooooooo looking forward to this. I'm glad Xseed actually opted for a physical release in NA, unlike Senran Kagura Burst on the 3DS last year.

From what I just heard, in Japan, it's a second disk, nothing confirmed for the rest of us, likely a download code, but not sure yet.

I'm trying to avoid the 360 version as I would love to play both on the WiiU but not if download.  If it sells well in Japan with both disk, hopefully we get a disk too.
