I've been out of town for work since Tuesday.  I'm up here in Fayetteville, AR.  I found the coolest thing ever.  There is a place called Arkadia Retrocade.  You give the dude $5 and you can play as long as you want.  It's a freeplay arcade with 50-75 games.  Holy Shit! I was in heaven!

I also found out how freaking scary it is to hear "Beware, I live!"  They have a sit-down Sinistar cabinet.  I played a shitload of it. 

I also set the daily highscore  and the 3rd all time score for that place on Robotron 2084.  I put up a good score for Mario Bros too. 

Damn, I had a lot of fun!

Anyone else ever played a Mario Kart arcade cab?

I have. There's a Chuck E. Cheese nearby that has a Vs. setup with two sit-down units. I want to say the game they're running is Mario Kart GP2.

I can't remember where but we found a single unit in a Wal-Mart somewhere. The game was in need of repair though.

The Barry Manilow concert was awesome. I can't believe that this guy has been playing the piano and writing songs for all of these years. And at 72, he's able to move around the stage like a boss. It was a great time.

My Famicom to NES adapter showed up today. Now I just need some games. Any recommendations on cheap-ish games?  Browsing eBay, I'm surprised at how cheap the Famicom versions of fairly expensive nes games are.

That sounds way too cool! I hope I can find something like this eventually, I'd LOVE to play arcades to my heart's content for such a low price  I love me some arcade games.
