I didn't have time to reply yesterday but I did read your answers and it really helped me, thanks a lot! I'm going for a simple evening for today, with a pack of some local microbreweries beers that I think / hope he hasn't tried yet!

As far as coffee equipment goes, he already has a semi-professional espresso machine, and 3 or 4 other coffee making devices (like a French press and others that I don't remember the name of  ), so it would be very cool if I can find something he doesn't have yet... I'll have to search for that!

That sounds like an awesome night! I miss cosmic bowling, I used to go once a year and it was always so fun. Last time I went, it was a halloween party, and my dad was dressed as a USB key... it was awesome.
