I think because it sounds kinda like "playing doctor" although that wasn't my intention.

In other news:

The patient standing next to House, looks like a young Will Ferrell.

I managed to pick up Best Buys last copy of Kirby's Dream Collection in the entire state today. It's on sale for $7.99 all week long, if you can actually find one.

My poor NES collection. Reduced to totes during the cleanup/rebirth of My Last Corner of the World.

I worked a little more on My Last Corner of the World. I came to a conclusion: I have too much stuff. I don't have room for it all.

I did make some progress though. All of my SNES, loose and boxed are on a shelf and alphabetized. No more shoe boxes for these bad boys. My boxed N64 games are shelved and out of cardboard boxes. I'll have to alphabetize those later.

Tomorrow, I'm going to try to get another shelf put together and start the long process of shelving my NES collection. I'm ready for this project to be finished.

Here's what I got done last night.  It's starting to come together.

Very nice looking! You need something for a book-end at the end of those SNES cartridges, though.

Just had a little idea for a topic that should fit right in here (as far as topicality).  Anyways...the topic/question/subject of discussion is:

"Going the extra mile/the little 'extras' that add up & go a long way"

I'll start it off by listing two that I've just seen/appreciated recently.

(1).  When each of the trophies for the game has its own (different & distinct) graphic/picture -especially- when the different pics actually have some relevance to what the trophie's about -and-

(2).  When you can see the differences in appearance of all of the armor, weapons, accessories, etc that your character(s) equip.

Like I said, they're *Little* things that don't add to/subtract from the actual gameplay & story of a game in any meaningful way...BUT...they're things that you like and/or appreciate -and- they (IMO) usually indicate some extra work/commitment from the maker of the game (since, obviously) not ALL games have/do these things.

I've always been a huge fan of dust trails. If you're running through dirt roads on foot and you can see dust kick up, that always impresses me.

That and water effects. I'm always impressed by water in games. Uncharted brought that up a whole other level with the way Nate Drake's clothing would only get partially wet, based on how deep the water was.
