I just noticed I have a few new followers.  I would like to take a minute to welcome all you newcomers into my cult fold.  There won't be any kool-aid, but PM me for an address to which you can send an offering of games.

This actually made me double check to see if I was following Turf.  If I was not already, I would have followed Turf just based on this text.  You are a creative genius my friend...

Ahhhh!!!!!  >:(

A Starfox Super Weekend has shown up in my town. It's got some label wear, but I still want it. The dude at the pawnshop says "It's a $600 game, but I'll take $400."  Good luck with that, homie. I think I may offer him a Benjamin and see how it goes.

Please educate me my dear friend on what a Starfox Super Weekend is?

Per Wiki :

Competition version

A promotional cartridge, Super Star Fox Weekend (Official Competition) (titled Star Wing: Official Competition in Europe), was released as part of the game's marketing campaign in Europe and the U.S. It featured time-limited single-player mode on modified stages, as well as an exclusive bonus level.[7] The altered start-up screen displays 'Official Competition Cartridge'. Depending on the points scored, players could win a t-shirt, a jacket, or trips to international destinations. An estimated 2000 cartridges were made.[7]

In the United States, the Super Star Fox Weekend was played by tens of thousands of competitors in malls across the country. Stores such as KB Toys and Suncoast Video (usually any store that carried Super Nintendo games participated) hosted the event. After the competition, a limited number of the Super Weekend cartridges were sold through the Nintendo Power magazine, listed in the Spring 1994 "Super Power Supplies" catalog that was mailed to subscribers, with an original list price of $45.

Sometimes I ask myself "Why do I care to fool with PC games?"  I have spent that last 3 hours trying to get Watch Dogs to play and run perfectly and the game lags and stutters every 5 seconds.  I had it working for a good 15 minutes and then it froze, and then started every 5 seconds again.  My laptop has above the recommended requirements so I'm not sure what to do...   So much frustration over pc gaming that I'm about done with it

If you have a geforce video card in your laptop, try running geforce experience to optimize the game. Also, nvidia put out new drivers for the video card for that game. Make sure you're running the latest version.

If you're feeling saucy, you can try out "the worse" mod for the game. I hear it helped stuttering a lot for people. Also, makes the game look nicer!

It's not your fault, it's just a crappy port. Ubisoft sucks.

That's why I don't.  ;)  I'm a tech by day, I don't wanna fool with that stuff when I game.  Plus I find I'm way more critical of things like framerate when I have that level of control over them - when I play on a console, I just accept whatever it does & usually don't even think twice about it.

To those of you familiar with the Tales series, should I finish playing Tales of Symphonia before I play Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World? Or is the order I play them in not particularly important?

Got my 1st "We're going to be tossing out a bunch of cases & manuals that will be left (covered) in a box next to one of our dumpsters; should you be interested, sweety" texts from my friendly, neighborhood GS manager last night!

I should say that I should be interested indeed  ;D
