Awesome freebie poster that came in the latest issue of Retro Videogame Magazine (along with a Mortal Kombat sticker). It's a fighting games special issue.

This also happens to be my final issue in my subscription. I will not be renewing. Even with the cool freebie, the Retro Gamer magazine from the U.K. that Barnes & Noble carries is so much better.

@Foxhack

Angioplasty.

Hopefully.

Worst (well, not really THE Worst) case = sewing her back up and having her return for a bypass.

And, yeah - I'm using words that I don't really understand.

Thanks for asking, though

So, everyone...

say some prayers,

cross your fingers,

send your best-wishes, positive thoughts & thinkings,

chant your mantras,

be deeply introspective,

direct your chi, karma, dogma and/or

your well-wishing vibes

(or whoever & whatever it might be that you pray to, believe in, trust, and put your faith in), etc

ie.  whatever it is that you do -

for my mom...

...she's 65 & going in for heart surgery at 6:00 AM on Monday morning  :-\

Just getting caught up here - I'll definitely keep her in my prayers Kenny. Let us know Monday when you can.

@Foxhack

Angioplasty.
Ah, that thing. My brother had a few of those done a few years ago - the surgery he had was annoying, but it didn't really give him much trouble since the procedure isn't that invasive. Just make sure she gets good rest while her surgery heals and she gets used to any changes caused by the procedure (my brother felt a bit lightheaded while he got used to his new blood pressure.)

I got 96 of the 101.  I haven't played the Ultima games, Dragon Warrior IV, Star Soldier, and one more that I can't remember.

Suggest me some type of HDMI splitter(?) where I can sit my ps4 and ps3 next to each other, and instead of having to unplug the HDMI from one system into the other. It has two HDMIs that run to the separate systems , than meet in the middle, to run into my tv. (if there is such a thing....

Thanks.

Very happy to hear everything went OK. :)

I use this, it's cheap & works great - I forget I have it hooked up because it automatically switches to whichever system you have turned on.

I recommend checking the other sellers tho & ordering from the one that's fulfilled by Amazon. It's worth the extra buck not to have to wait 2 weeks for it. ;)

Correction, 81 out of 101. I missed marking one of the Ultima games.

Hehe, the guilt trip from disgaeniac!  But seriously, I'm really happy to hear that things went well, and I wish her the smoothest, quickest, and gentlest of recoveries.  I'll be thinking of you two while she recovers :)
