What we do in the shadows.
I found this to be a pretty funny movie. One part almost killed me I laughed so loud. (Virgin blood)
Its a documentary about 4 vampires who are room mates.

I haven't watch that much anime but I just watched The Wind Rises. It was actually really good. I had a craving to see something else by Studio Ghibli after watching a few Ni No Kuni videos on Youtube!  :)

That has to be one of the most calming Studio Ghibili films done lol I really liked it.  I watched it in theater, so I got to see all that beautiful art on the big screen.  Not very high on my list of films by them, but it's a very nice film to watch.

Tales of the Abyss- great adaption of the game

Not a movie or anime I also watched the 4 seasons of Archer that Netflix has available that show is f#@%ing hilarious and it had most likely the only time I will ever laugh at Bob's Burgers.

currently going through Cowboy Bebop since oddly enough I've never watched the whole series, always ended up falling asleep before it started for some reason I know I have watched a bunch of episodes of it and never in order

I just went through the entire Archer series a couple months ago.  One of the funniest shows I have ever watched!
Currently Playing: Dark Souls: Remastered (Switch)

Archer is fantastic.  I'm actually behind on watching the new season which is like 2 episodes in now I think.

The commercials for that show always look funny. I just haven't sat down and watched an episode yet. I really don't do much T.V. nowadays. Pretty much just keep up on the super-hero shows (SHIELD, Flash, Gotham) and wrestling sometimes.

Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Eden of the East, Black Lagoon, Ninja Scroll, and a bit of an odd choice from me but Spice & Wolf is also a good one

I'm right there with you, as one of the least-versed & least-knowledgeable + the most ignorant & unexperienced posters here - when it comes to all things anime.

I *can* say this much, though:

I've recently played through (and *loved*) the PS3 game

Tears to Tiara 2: Heir of the Overlord

Before doing so, I bought the anime (it came as a 2-disc blu ray set) for the 1st/previous season and, I liked it a lot!

If you're also (like myself + some others here:) a 'video game OST' person...the OST for TtT2 has just (beaten out NieR & Folklore's) to become my new favorite OST, as well.

I've watched < 5 other animes --but-- the only other one that I'd bother suggesting, is one called Berserk - iirc, that one came as a 6 or 7 disc DVD set.

 The alternative is despair.
