Next Gen Announcement coming?

I remember when the 3DS first came out. I knew a guy who was "calling it" that handheld gaming was going to die off thanks to mobile phones and ipads. So far, I don't see it. haha

Most longtime gamers know that it's not the console or handheld that sells the system, it's the games. And smart phone gaming just doesn't have as good of games. 3DS has Mario, Zelda, Starfox, and others that Angry Birds or Fruit Ninja just can't touch.

The event starts in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Do you think there will be much detail on the system? Any details on games? Or do you think it will just be an announcement of the system?

I'm actually kind of hoping they'll just move Last Guardian over to PS4 as a launch title.

That would be pretty sweet actually. I'd at least buy the game on release and then play it like 5 years later.

It actually just kicked me off. Technical issues I assume if we are both having issues. Here's hoping that streaming games thing is a rumor.

From what I saw so far, they announced the PS4. Showed the new controller. It is a dualshock with a little screen on it with a built-in "move" like device. They started showing the first game. But kicked me off before anything substantial.

It has 8 GB of Ram.

Hopefully they'll show a game that looks cool, because Killzone 4 looks... well, just like the other Killzones, but with slightly nicer graphics.
