Mine is just in my bedroom so I don't have anything amazing, though I quite like having all the games piled together in the alcove :P

Where you get those shelves at?

The main bookcase I got from here. A couple of those shelves at the bottom are ones I added though.

They are custom display cases that I bought at a garage sale a couple years ago.
The guy I bought em from used to use them at flea markets to display his goods.

I used them a year ago to display my consoles at a gaming party I hosted.
You can see them used here.

Awesome display idea!

thanks
i need to change it slightly as there is not enough room under the shelf to easily put the controller cables.
also they are a little too deep for the N64 controller

I always thought about adding track lighting to my console displays, but was always afraid of the light damaging the consoles over time. Looks awesome though.  :)

Is that a thing with lighting? I know sunlight on boxes and systems is not good and will fade out, but does regular lighting or LED lighting do that too in some way if it's particularly harsh?

Yes, this is why you find discolored games consoles. Sunlight is the worst, if your gaming consoles (or carts) is in direct sunlight it can discolor them. Smoking households also discolor consoles and I know standard light bulbs (even many newer ones) will discolor many plastics. Florescent is "supposed" to be better. and I'm not sure about LEDs.

Simply amazing wish I can do that at home but first of all I don't have that many games and second my daughter will definitely go crazy if she looks all of them in one place  ;D

I don't want to be horny anymore, I just want to be happy

One of my local Wal-Mart's has a copy of Game & Wario for the Wii U, which is becoming hard to find, but they've had it in the case directly in front of one of the lights for so long that the front of the cover is extremely faded. :(

I thought this was funny, had a girl come into my game room and this was her reaction.

And then she really wanted to try on the Power Glove. lol
