I'm so tempted to try collecting all the Sega Ages stuff, even the crappy ones. The Gunstar Heroes Treasure Box is especially squee! (and still on my wishlist :/)

How's Cool Cool Toon? I've heard good stuff, but never played it.

I've not played Cool Cool Toon yet, it's still in the post!

As for the Sega Ages series - I'm missing just nine now (I think, anyway) out of the thirty three - I love them! One of the best things Sega's ever done as far as I'm concerned :)

I bet that NES will work. It takes a lot to break those things. Best bet is to get one of the star bits for the consoles, open it up and give that thing a good cleaning. Also maybe swap out to a new 72 pin connector.

I'm envious by Pop'n'Music. That is at the top of my import list behind Sega Gaga.

I bought Pop'n Music in the hopes my son would want a go :)

I was also pleasantly surprised to find that not only did Pop'n 1 - 4 get DC releases but they brought out a few of the append discs too! Obviously that still doesn't bring it up to the amount on PS1/PS2, but I think it's enough to be getting on with.

So I found this yesterday.

This is a Japanese R2 DVD of Street Fighter. It was brand new, but I already opened it. This is a Sample version - it has a sticker over the JAN code, and it has "SAMPLE - LOAN" written on the inner ring of the disc. It was in a box with at least fifteen other Japan-region DVDs that had the same marks and stickers on 'em, most were brand new - and another stack of promo R1 DVDs for various US movies and TV shows. It cost me $2, and of course, I can't watch it on an R1 DVD player, so I made a region-free disc instead. Ha ha. :P

Also, the curious thing - apparently this came out on my birthday (6/28). Pretty neat. ^^;

Grabbed a couple more MVS wants today - Art of Fighting 3 and KoF 99 :)

Also got a slip through the post saying I need to pay £22 in customs charges for some packages - and I can't even remember what I ordered that'd get hit for a fee ;_;

Well, the NES is already opened. It came out of the box in two pieces. The TV screen lights up, it just won't actually play the games when it is plugged in.
