Put an hour or two into No Man's Sky since it's on Xbox Game Pass for PC, but I don't think I'll keep on with it.  I can see the improvements already from what I remember of the original game when it first launched, which was a disaster, but performance really isn't very good for me.  Even bumping it to lower settings, it just feels kinda janky and jittery, movement and interactions don't feel nice to me.  Probably just gonna drop it which is a shame as I willing to give it a second chance, see the new content, some of it sounding cool, but it's just not sitting right with me.

Continuing my playthrough of Mafia II. Some really good stuff in terms of plot. Im liking it.

Started up Bloodborne and I have been getting destroyed. What I know from Dark Souls is there but for the most part this is different and I have to adapt.

Picked The Last of Us Remastered back up again, hopefully I'll get through it and Left Behind before I pick the game up on Saturday.  :D

Replaying Chrono Trigger for the nth time. I forgot how short the game is. I just finished getting the Epoch up and flying. It always feel good to smack around Dalton.

I should give it a replay one of these days. It's been almost 10 years now since I beat it.

Since No Man's Sky didn't go anywhere for me, and there's a Steam sale going on, I picked up Green Hell for a more pure survival setting and so far I'm liking it.  It's kinda hard figuring out what you can make since a lot of things don't have recipes and you are literally just slapping things together and eating stuff and hoping it works outs lol Also getting hurt is kinda rough as it's hard to find the things you need to deal with that, it's definitely a challenge.

It's very similar to The Forest, where there's a big story and established setting, but you get a lot of freedom to how you tackle everything.  If you liked that, you'll like this one.

I started playing KOTOR again. I didn’t know it was released on iPhone. It’s still damn good. One of my favorite games ever.

Not gonna count this for my games challenge completion, mostly because it's so short, around 2 hours, but since I ordered The Last of Us 2 and will be playing that next week, I thought I'd at least finish the Left Behind DLC for the first game, which bridges the small time gap later in the game and giving some more background to Ellie before she joined Joel.  Overall it's a nice bit of story, nothing amazing, cool to see Ellie get some fun time especially from what I'm hearing how dark the sequel is.

An aside to this, the game seems to have a crazy amount of DLC for the multiplayer.  Like the Remaster should've been the complete edition of the game, and while it comes with the multiplayer maps, it apparently doesn't come with anything else?  That's really weird.  Not that I was ever interested in the MP, I don't like the games combat enough to care about that, but I just found it odd when I saw that it had so much multiplayer DLC.

I've been playing 2064: Read Only Memories. It's a really cool game. Very stylish and slick with great music and visuals. I'm enjoying it so far.

I am still attempting to finish Final Fantasy 7 Remake. My goal is to attempt to beat it before Ghost of Tsushima releases.

Divinity: Original Sin.  I love a good ole dungeon-crawly RPG, and this definitely scratches that itch.  It's very deep and obtuse - I really enjoy experimenting to find recipes and making random potions.  It's a little wonky in places, but I've heard that a lot of that is ironed out in the sequel, which I can't way to play.

About 5 to 6 hours into The Last of Us 2 and so far it's pretty good.  Visually it's great of course and the gameplay improvements over the first game really do a lot for me.  Some stuff is less obnoxious and easier to do, there are much more open sections to explore at your leisure (Small sandboxes that you let you hit up different spots for extra items, sometimes new weapons or skill manuals, but are totally optional), and the story is good. I can see where the story is likely to go and turn things into the misery march I've heard about, but so far it's no worse than something you'd get out of Walking Dead.

Finished filling out my backlog queue, which is just a list of the Steam games and some others I own put into a text file. Because I love systematic sorting of things, I do move entries up and down for various reasons I won't list out. I haven't put it here, but I think it was posted into the backlog thread, but I have a different game assigned per day of the week that I will play. I have these games in the Currently Playing section of my collection.

Monday update

- Couldn't find lobbies in Black Ops 4 for Merc DM or Nuketown. Eventually got one on TDM. My contracts were for 1 shot 1 kill, and primary 3 attachments. So I had the Koshka / Secret Santa class. Joined early game in-progress, already there was a problem. The wall texture was missing at the spawn point, and it wouldn't let me select Recon specialist despite it not being unavailable. I picked Torque instead. On the enemy team was Cubas, a player I hadn't seen in a game since last year. I had last chatted with him in Sirian's twitch stream back when Sirian was still playing BO4 MP, and after I had played against him and xcal. Joining into a stacked lobby right away with the Koshka didn't do me any favors because I always have to warm up to that gun. By the end, I wasn't the worst in the match. 0 kills with Koshka, 3 with Secret Santa and a couple with some ground guns. At the AAR, the game crashed. :(

- Played some Zaccaria Pinball instead, got 39 achievements in about an hour and a half. Always a great time. Still so many tables that I do not own yet and new ones are added all the time. At least you can play tables you don't own, they have a score limit... AND you can get achievements on them as well. Played randoms for a bit, Story Mode but didn't beat my record and tried some tournament.

- Put No Man's Sky back on the Monday slot.

I just started playing Rising Storm 2: Vietnam and I am about to play through the first few Halo games again, I just bought a few new games on Steam for the sale and that is what I'm most excited about.
