Developer:
Riki

Known for the Famicom/NES Music games / 8 Bit soundtracks such as Kira Kira Star Night DX

Source:

Do not put text like this in descriptions for games in physical categories:
"8Bit Music Power Final on physical cartridge for the NES"

Understood,

Was just copy and pasting the product description from the Limited Run Games website. I will be more careful in the future.

Developer:
San Diego Studio | MLB The Show 21, MLB The Show 20, MLB The Show 19...MLB 06: The Show

San Diego Studio aka Sony Interactive Entertainment San Diego Studio
as SIE San Diego: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/company/227698-sony-interactive-entertainment-san-diego-studio
as SCE Studios San Diego: https://www.mobygames.com/company/sce-studios-san-diego

Already exist in multiple times so some of these may be dupes:

SCE San Diego
SCE San Diego Studio
SCE Studios San Diego
SCEA San Diego Studios
SOE San Diego
Sony San Diego

I see now where the wording to the Advanced Style Guide indicates developer and publisher information is to be entered as found from GameFAQs and MobyGames. It's a shame how much wrong information we're to supply here at the sake of being consistent with these third-party websites wholly independent of VGC.

Here is MLB The Show 21's startup video which very clearly states "San Diego Studio." I even found a compilation video of all the MLB titles through MLB 20 The Show where, starting from MLB 10 The Show, "San Diego Studio" is provided.

"San Diego Studio, Zindagi Games" seems only applicable to the two items: Sports Champions 2 and Medieval Moves: Deadmund's Quest, with the latter currently not listing the correct Developer information either. I imagine that, if any MLB The Show entries do have this information supplied for the Developer field, it's because it is the only option that correctly lists "San Diego Studio."

Also, "Sony Computer Entertainment san diego studios" can be added to that duplicate list.

The portions relating to this are a prime example of things we have to do only because of site limitations. A product can have multiple developers and it is even more true in current times than when the site was made. Where, it was taken up that we would just add combination dev/pub and this is not a good idea. Setting a rule to limit what can be put into that field prevents the edit wars that happen when people want to continuously change the option to what is on a game screen, what is on a box, what is on a developer website (or say, if a dev changed their name over time) or what it says on some other source. Our dev/pub options are severely limited and it would be much better to be able to specify individual companies to an item either by way of taggins of dev1/2/3 etc. And this type of information isn't even used anywhere on the site besides the item entry itself. With the exception to what Admins can do, we can actually search by developer or publisher but it is limited.
