Me personally, I'd wait before posting pictures. Not Christmas day wait but at least get a week or so into December. 

Anyway, I'm trying to wrap up my Secret Santa stuff this weekend. My recipient chose some interesting things for their list, some of which are on the expensive side. I thought I had one item locked down but found out the game had a dead battery so I'm back to square one on finding another copy.

Have your wife open your SS box and wrap the gifts for you.  She knows what you are getting so she won't buy a dupe, and you still get a christmas surprise.  That's my plan.

The only issue is that I keep consistently finding games on my wishlist for diiiiiiiiiiiirt cheap.

Another Question: I plan on opening mine when I get it so my wife doesn't get me some of the same stuff (she knows where my wishlists are on the computer). Would anyone be offended? And if not, is it okay to post the pics early, or should we wait until Christmas to do so?

Every year some folks open it early anyway. We usually create a separate thread for the pictures in case some people don't want to see them before Christmas day
