Trying to find a 20-in-1 cart that I had as a kid...
« on: December 01, 2017, 12:50:37 am »
I've been thinking of tracking this down just for the nostalgia factor. It was a famicom disk with a converter (attached with electrical tape, as we bought it damaged).

It had the following games (I am pretty sure... I will list the ones i am confidant I was there first):

Mario Bros, Ice Climber, Pinball, Galaga, Road Fighter
Wild Gunman, Star Force, Ikki, Yie Ar Kung Fu, some Mahjong game (not sure which, I couldn't read the text)
Pacman, F-1 Race, Battle Tank, Circus Charlie, Excitebike
Baseball

Not 100% sure, but pretty confidant:
Super Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, Donkey Kong Classics (I remember having all three as a kid, but the edition may be different)

I have been trying to remember the 20th, but it must have been a Japanese title, as I have no clue what it could be, and my memory is not being helped by reading through a complete list).

Any help would be awesome!

I found something I think might be close enough.

http://somerussianmariodude.blogspot.com/2015/12/famicom-bootleg-carts-collection-4.html

Scrolling down to the 20-in-1 cart, this one looks like it has most of the games listed.

20-in-1 Super Cartridge Gold Cassette

Contains:
  • Super Mario Bros. (title hack, says Super Kid)
  • Mario Bros. (title hack, says Super Kid)
  • Battle City
  • F-1 Race (title screen removed, some graphics are glitchy)
  • Road Fighter
  • Excite Bike
  • Baseball
  • Pinball
  • Mahjong (title screen removed, glitchy graphics)
  • Exerion
  • Star Force (title hack, says Star War with plain text)
  • Ikki
  • Yie Ar Kung Fu
  • Donkey Kong 3 (title hack, says Gorilla 3)
  • Galaga
  • Ice Climber
  • Pac-Man
  • Circus Charlie (title hack, says Circus Troupe with plain text)
  • Duck Hunt
  • Wild Gunman

Hope this helps even if just by a little bit.

That lists looks really close! The cart itself does not jog my memory and Exerion looks like something I would have played a sa kid... but I didn't. So close! :)

Thanks, man! Just seeing some of these games in action is cathartic. The nostalgia! My dad with his Galaga... my mom with her dearest Wild Gunman... Yep, five of us took turns deciding what we would play next!
