I bought the jumping first.. Thought I could just jump right down to the treasure chest behind the house where the flower pot is or jump over the flower pot.... no luck though :( an I refuse to use the strategy guide on this :)

Yeah, I feel the same way about the guide. I feel like I over use them on RPGs most of the time.

I just finished the Story in Ding Dong Dell, at the beginning. Now, rather than continuing on with the story I'm using the guide to point out as many side missions as I can. This is the only time I'm using the guide too. So if I'm in a dungeon or doing something story wise, I leave it alone. Then once I'm done with that section, I pick up the guide and go hunting for items I might have missed, quests, etc.

AND yes, I'm that far behind everyone else.

Meh, I'm still only ~ 10 hours in. I just haven't had any time to play.

I'm prolly close to that. I haven't had time/ been waiting for the GF. But I decided to just play and fill her in on the story if she's really interested.

Im around 60 hours in now. I agree with the guide thing. The way I do my first playthrough of any game like this is totally guideless. I want to explore every path and get everything on my own (so far every "dangerous place" has 100% completion on explore and all the chests). Im liking the direction the game is going into now. It totally threw me for a loop a few times where I am now. I do know at least one more errand popped up and once I completed it, my rating was now 75% so it looks like there will definitely be enough of them to fill out the entire thing.

Has anyone spent any time in the Solesseum? Rank C sucks. :(

I did try the Solesseum but haven't been there in a while. I think rank C is where I left off (some robot kicked my butt). I didn't have the dino guy then and he should be a big help except I just morphed him to the final stage so he is level one again. Once he is up a few levels he should be good. I'm at 45 hours and have the option to enter the final battle but have noticed more bounty hunts and errands unlocked so maybe I'll mess around a bit more before finishing.

Beat rank C and then beat rank B ... havent even tried rank A yet cause B was pretty tough. I probably wont see too many more bounty/errands til I can finish that morph capture.

I'm still playing around with my "A" team, most have hit max level (30-40) and are back to 35+ after evolving them.  My progression is still pretty slow (Fairygrounds) but I'm level 50-something now lol.  I'm just having too much fun trying the different familiars and playing with abilities.  I'm looking forward to the casino and soloseum!

Most of the casino rewards are pretty meh. There are a couple of unique alc items but most else is just passable.

I bought some crownberries and an Idler ticket at the casino. I didn't know what the ticket was but I ended up talking to the character who takes it. You get a familiar called Idler in return though I never used it, just tossed the creature into storage.

On February 12th Namco Bandai is releasing a free downloadable Draggle familiar.

OK. I think I'm officially done w/ Ding Dong Dell, the quests anyway. I still need to go back through the Well and get any items I missed while going through there. Then it's on to the Golden Grove!

I have a bit of a TF2 addiction going though, so I stopped where I was and went on to my PC to light people on fire...
