03-11-2014 mastafafik Description X is an early 3D Game Boy game, formally known as Lunar Chase or Eclipse and was one of first three dimensional games for a handheld console. Its concept was designed by British programmer Dylan Cuthbert, who was one of the lead programmers of Argonaut Software at the time. Argonaut Software were later the developers of the original Star Fox. The original concept of X was inspired by games like Star Glider, and an unfinished prototype was presented as a tech demo to various video game companies. Nintendo later decided to further develop the game and publish it. X was never released outside of Japan, although it received a sequel X-Returns (localized as X-Scape for the US and 3D Space Tank for PAL regions) for DSiWare. The tunnel scene from Earth to Tetamus II plays as a remixed soundtrack in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and was featured in Nintendo Sound Selection Volume 3 as 'Tunnel Scene' hence the name of the track in SSBB.
