My role isn't to add or remove database categories, but I will offer my thoughts. From an archival perspective, I don't think opinion should bear any weight on the matter. That certain consoles touted as upgrades (however slight that may be) but weren't marketed for long or were even that successful is irrelevant that these platforms exist and should be documented correctly. It's not our job to rearrange things based on our individual preferences.

For what it's worth, GameFAQs lists several NeoGeo Pocket games released in EU.

Considering NGP subs current has 1 EU game, 0 NA games and only really JP games, I would consider possibly only having 1 sub for NGP.

For New Nintendo 3DS physical, how many actual game titles are we talking about here? Besides Xenoblade Chronicles, I found Runbow Pocket in NA. If the total number is low, I would consider creating a single category for New 3DS physical and using TLD on entries.

For New 3DS digital, i'm presuming we already have all of the entries existing in the 3DS eshop categories.

For DSi, I would likely prefer to drop the TLD on the existing sub

AU: 2
CA: 2
DE: 2
ES: 2
FR: 2
IT: 2
JP: 2

US: 4

If the thought is to only have one DSi Games category, then that would be the best course of action.
