Resident Evil was a long running favorite of mine. When I first saw the Gamecube Remake, my jaw dropped. It was absolutely insane how a single generation could make that massive a difference in graphical fidelity. While I bought and played the hell out of the Gamecube version, it wasn't until the much later port on PS4 that I found it nearly perfected. I even loved that they added in the RE5 outfits for Chris and Jill. While the collection also comes with RE0, I feel it's an ok side game, but not the shining example of what the series is. I count it as more of a bonus add on.

10. Resident Evil Origins Collection (PS4)

Silent Hill Homecoming

Really? I'm not criticizing your choice but I just really couldn't get into the game at all - Sloppy combat, Awful  graphics & very rough around the edges production value. As soon as I saw the Pyramid Head make an unwarranted appearance I said enough is enough.

What did you enjoy so much about Homecoming? Genuinely curious :)

11. Alien: Isolation

Neat, I've found the RE Ports of t his generation to be some of the finest gameplay experiences I've had. I never had a GAMECUBE so I never got to play this back in the day but also enjoyed it very much. Also, despite being the black sheep of the family I've really enjoyed playing RE6 online in particular the Mercenaries mode, more people should experience RE6 Online.

Also THAT RE stack is easily one of my favourite parts of my PS4 collection, pumped for the upcoming RE8 too, it's certainly become one of my favourite series in recent years.

Agreed. Mercs mode is a ton of fun with friends. It was a lot of fun unlocking all the various outfits too. Sherry looked pretty hot in those uniform short skirt outfits as well.  ;)
