Damn I really need to purchase something this month

Since I started collecting retrogames a few years ago I always longed for owning a copy of Phantasy Star II for the european SEGA Megadrive ... this month I didn't want to wait for it any longer and got it! Feels great to slowly achieving every piece that I feel is a must-have in my gaming-room can't wait to play it.

For it's a quite expensive game, that gotta be it for this month. 'nough money spent ...

I'm interested in Horizon 2 but not at $70. I'll be waiting for a price drop on that one. I'll probably be picking up Destiny 2's Witch Queen expansion later in the month if that counts as adding to the collection.

My only local pawn shop, the only place that sells retro games is closing .
But was able to grab for my last visit

Next closest shop is nearly 400km away (~4 hours drive) but will plan a trip sometime soon when I can.

I've recently started buying Final Fantasy IX related items and am mostly focusing on print material. Hopefully I can get more US releases soon, but I'm in no hurry. Just for magazines alone, I've identified over 40 items worldwide. I'd like to import some, but shipping costs are way too expensive to justify a purchase.

And here it is! A guy who belongs to a local Facebook collecting group posted a ton of CIB N64 games he was selling, many of which he's had since the 2000s. They weren't cheap, but they were better than ebay prices at least. I'm bowing out of the the CIB games scene for a while, at least until the end of this year after this one.
