That's a lot of hack-and-slash and football games. I'm more surprised you opted to buy football over baseball, though. On that note, I'm guessing there are very few, if any, hockey games for PlayStation 2 exclusive to Japan.

Those PS2 games were primarily gotten because I did not have any Japanese PS2 games yet, and also it was a lot that I won for 350yen. I'm not complaining about what ended up being in there other than the dupes and the few that didn't have discs. I had put 10k yen on various game lots on YAJ and only ended up winning that one and the PC BL games lot.

Been fleshing out my Saturn collection since last month, along with a few SNES games:

The Fenrir ODE I mentioned last month is on pre-order, specifically the Duo version. That along with gscart switches I pre-ordered last year should ship out from Castlemania this month. I can wait longer for both if I need to, but it'd be nice to get the Duo soon. I'm itching to get in installed so I can break into my Saturn games without having the break out discs and potentially worsen their condition. Next month I'll likely buy a flashcart, either for the SNES or GBA. Might grab a shmup or two that grabs my attention. Gardius Gaiden is currently on my radar, maybe Raiden DX if I have money to spare. We'll see how it goes.

I got my copy through eBay for ~$250. Wasn't cheap but it was complete and in great condition, and it finally completed my trio of SoTN releases between the Saturn and PSX.

I'm also trying to break into shmups. The rest of those Saturn games seemed like games I'd play. Salamander and Gradius Deluxe are in my sights, same with Batsugun. Given how expensive Batsugun can be I'll likely nab the Dexlue Packs first.

Other than that I really want Hyper Duel; luckily that one has dropped in price a decent amount over the years, but will still set you back several hundred. Those are the two main Saturn Shmups I still want and don't own, but there are a handful of other games I'm after too. Luckily the MODE has allowed me to quench some of my shmup collectorism, but it's still nice to own the actual game.

Never heard of Hyper Duel, but after some digging its definitely got my interest piqued. Same goes for the Thunder Force Packs. Once my Fenrir Duo arrives I'll finally be able to really dig into the genre. What other games are you after? My Saturn library is still small so I welcome suggestions, shmup or not.

How is the MODE anyway? I still need an ODE for my Dreamcast and haven't had much luck finding a GDEMU second hand that isn't from China or from a shady seller.
