I feel as if most people here, including myself at this moment, are the same. I've only bought seven games so far this year.

I was about to say that I've barely picked anything up this year either, however I was shocked when I realized I've actually bought quite a few games in 2025 so far. I think getting an XBOX One contributed heavily to this, as well as me getting into a new, established franchise (Metal Gear).

I've been buying back a lot of the Colecovision games I previously sold... 

It's a great little system.

Yeah, I've only bought 4 this year, 1 of which was for my son. -- Let's Go Pikachu (Switch). The others I bought for me are:
 - Star Trek Resurgence (PS5)
 - Indiana Jones (PS5)
 - FF7 Remake Part 1 (PS5) -- still haven't opened.

Amazingly there are games I'm planning to buy in the last 4 months of the year:
 - Tomb Raider 4-6 (PS5 physical edition) - Sept.
 - Battlefield 6 SE (PS5) - Oct.
 - Double Dragon Revive with Dodgeball (PS5) - Oct.
 - Code Violet DE (PS5) - Dec.

Limited Run finally shipped some games I ordered a while ago. I imagine I'll be diving into some shmups this sometime this weekend.
