Ronalopolis and I spent our anniversary (July 3rd) the same way we do about every year...picking a random city within driving distance and hitting their used game stores.
This year we did Indianapolis, mostly because they have a Fry's, and we don't get there very often. Also the Children's Museum there is phenomenal, and they were open on the 4th.
We didn't get too much this time, but he did get Resident Evil 2 for the PlayStation (didn't have it for that) and he got Code Veronica as well (PS2). Then he picked up Clock Tower 3 (PS2) after arguing with me about whether or not he had it (the Android VGCollect app is so great for these trips, by the way!!) and I got Hell's Kitchen and Sega Casino for the DS. Then the Breeder's Cup game that Bethesda made for the PS2. This stuff all ended up at about $15 total.
Then a trip to a really random store got me Hotel Giant DS and him Rock of the Dead, each for $3.
Let's see...then I got a clear Game Boy Pocket, I'm starting to get really close to all the non-LE colors on those (the Pockets, that is). And then Bomberman GB (which they threw in). And Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story. So $35 total with that round.
Then we picked up another game from my WANT list: Kolibri. Anything that is described as a "hummingbird shooter" needs to be in my collection. Haven't dug out the 32X to try it yet though. Complete in box, $35, which I don't think is too bad.
Then we got home late last night to have Theatrhythm waiting for me on the doorstep. So, a pretty fantastic last two days!
