Recently got a PSP 2001 Piano Black from a thrift store for $5
. It was missing the battery and cover but I figured what the heck.
Ordered a new battery and got a good sized SD card so I could use it as an emulator (Already have one that I'm not going to emulation).
Got it all set up and working. Starting playing some CastleVania and some other games. I notice that the screen is starting to have some tearing.
Start looking for a screen on ebay or someplace.
Basically now I'm waiting on a new screen for this $5 PSP that has turned into a $70 PSP at this point.
At least I get some enjoyment out of fixing old consoles.
