And since this is other collections, tomorrow is the release day for another thing I collect : CSI season. Sadly all 3 of them come out tomorrow and I cant afford one of them yet. From what I hear, its the last season of CSI Miami (stupid idea CBS to put a show on Sunday and base its success off that). But $65 x 3 = too rich for me atm. Ill probably try to get them used as soon as I can. I dont watch the show during the regular airing times cause I buy the seasons anyhow. It was like repeats when I would watch the seasons once I bought them.

Out of all three CSI shows, Miami was the one that felt too long in the tooth. New York and Vegas have their own things going, but every time I saw Miami in the recent seasons... I saw Horatio Caine torturing someone.

I dunno... I'm glad it was canceled. :\

Yup.  Saw it twice in the theater.

I also picked up Thor, which was on sale for $15, which completes my Marvel "Avengers universe" blu-ray collection.

So, in this topic/thread is the 1st time that I've thought about, talked about, and/or dug-out some of my older Testament cd's to give them a listen...

Yesterday, my girl and I were talking about/wondering aloud about what we might want to be doing for a "Saturday night out".

1/2 hour ago, I took a quick ride to p/u a few things at the store --and-- AS SOON AS I GOT IN THE CAR...what's on the radio???

Well, nothing but an ad announcing that on Sat. night (in Atlantic City/30 - 40 minute drive)...

TESTAMENT, DEATH ANGEL, *AND* ANTHRAX are all doing a show together.

Now, not only do the girl & I know exactly what we're doing...but...we can't wait

Purchased some CDs from the Walmart bargain bin and the gohastings sale recently.  I am going to slow down on the CD buying now.  I was just getting some new ones since I recently started listening to Metal and had no metal CDs. I got,
The Cars: The Cars- One of my favorite albums and bands ever.  Been listening to my dads old scratched up CD so I finally got this one.
The Cars: Greatest Hits- Purchased this one because I eventually plan on having a complete Cars CD set.
Pantera: A Decade of Domination- Heard about this band from disgaeniac.  AWESOME album, my favorite song of what I have heard is Walk.
Avenged Sevenfold: City of Evil-Great album, I really like the singer's voice. 
Metallica: Master of Puppets- Probably my favorite album right now.  Every song is perfect.
Modest Mouse: Good News for People Who Love Bad News- Excellent album, has a cool sound.
Limp Bizkit: Greatest Hitz- This one is the only one I did not like at all.  I thought it would like it because I enjoy Linkin Park's older stuff, but there was way too much rap on this album.  I am only out a dollar though.

I wish I would have been around to catch Pantera live.  The broke up before I had my own money to road trip to see them.  I've seen Metallica and Sevenfold both several times.  Love me some live music and those are two of my favorite bands.

I saw Metallica twice (once at the "Monsters of Rock" (Kingdom Come, Dokken, Scorpions, Van Halen, and Metallica) and once w/ Guns & Roses.

I was lucky enough to see Pantera early-on (their "Cowboys from Hell Tour") at the Ritz in NYC (along w/ Exodus, Bioshock, Suicidal Tendencies, Body-Count, and House of Pain)...

...good times and GREAT memories

I also collect the Hallmark Star Wars christmas ornaments.  Yesterday 2 new ornaments were released, and I was able to get them both.  LEGO Stormtrooper and Darth Vader peekbuster.

It's an ornament that makes sounds if someone gets too close to the tree.  It's a bit weird, but I heard it was a limited edition, so I picked it up.

I have most of these too.  I'm missing the Episode II-ish Yoda they released, but I have all the others.  It makes a pretty awesome tree with my light up Yoda tree topper.
