I haven't posted much since I haven't been buying much... but here's my week's non-game finds:

I picked those up yesterday for $3 total. Transformers has a bit of wear and tear on the artwork but the disc is pretty mint! I'm not a big fan of the show these days so it's going into the trade pile. Wasabi... well I saw the movie dubbed to Spanish a few years back and thought it was pretty hilarious. I'm a fan of Jean Reno so for a buck and a half I couldn't resist.

These are from Wednesday. I know.

The topmost three movies were a dollar each. I can't resist Pamela Anderson trying to act, and the other two movies... I have no idea what they are. But. They're A) Italian, B) have Greek subtitles (?!), C) are DVD-Rs, D) Look like bad VHS transfers, and most importantly - E) were made by a small outfit called "Cult Alley Theater" which specialized in releasing rare stuff like this. Nothing even resembling anything legal, of course - which makes them interesting. They seem to have gone out of business in late 2011. I browsed their catalog and they seem to have released some interesting stuff! Too bad there's little chance I'll ever see any of their releases again.

The botttom three films were $5 total. I bought Aeon Flux to replace my beat up, Fullscreen copy of the movie. I grabbed Live Free or Die Hard for the same reason... except I apparently own it already. Whoops! And City Hunter is by Tai Seng Entertainment, who seems to alternate between selling licensed and unlicensed films. I have a couple of their releases and I can't tell if they're legit or not.

And yes, this is the movie with Jackie Chan dressed as Chun Li.

So yeah! That's... about it.

I'm babysitting the cats right now, seriously. Today happens to be a 3-day weekend for me, so I'm home rather than at work. Painters came today and painted all our doors (I live in an apartment complex). So the door has to stay open for a little while for the paint to dry. My cats are indoor cats and we live by a busy road. In addition, one cat is a chemical freak in the sense of a druggie. She loves cleaning chemicals and such. So I have to keep her away from the door for that reason, and the other 2 away from the door so they don't run into the busy road.

Same. It's not that I don't like them or anything, the good ones are just so expensive, still. Also, loving the CED! :o

Nope, lol. But I plan on getting one when I see one. The CED movie was on a free with purchase rack at a used CD shop I used to frequent. And being that it's the Wrath of Khan and all, I couldn't pass it up.

Rejoined the Disney video club tonight and ordered my initial shipment, so I will be getting the following blu-rays to add to my collection:

My Neighbor Totoro
Howl's Moving Castle
Secret World of Arrietty
Whisper of the Heart
The Little Mermaid
Cinderella
Peter Pan

Initial order was about $22 for all of those, which run about that much each when they're on sale.  Now I have to buy two more at "club prices" in the next two years, but in all it comes out to about $9 per movie which is a killer deal.

I had a preorder of R.A. Salvatore's The Companions, The latest Drizzt book, come in in paperback.

Then splurged a little and bought a few books:
B&N Leatherbound Classics: The Complete Sherlock Holmes

and original paperback releases of:
R.A. Salvatore's Homeland: Dark Elf Trilogy Book 1
R.A. Salvatore's Sojourn: Dark Elf Trilogy Book 3

I'm glad I finally got these two, I have Book 2 and never got the others before they rereleased it with new covers. Plus they were like $3 a piece shipped, which is full of win. These give me an almost full paperback collection of the Drizzt series.

Now Playing: Persona 5 Scramble, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Mario Kart 8

Got this card in mail for my Pokémon Card collection today, found on US amazon for about 20€ (with shipping)..on auctions it can usually go for double or triple that. Also one of the more rarer cards.

(not my picture, card looks just as good as this though)
