Most people dont pay attention to "holidays" but rather a day off. Its really frustrating to see idiots on the news on Memorial day for example talking about how they are going to go get drunk. Really? Shouldnt you be paying respect to those that have perished instead of being one of those yourself next year from an alcohol related accident? Sorry, I went off on a tangent but I see it every year and its just shows how stupid society has gotten.
