So wtf's this "FireTV"?

Amazon's set-top video streaming device that also doubles as a gaming console.

So...like Amazon's OUYA?

Blech  ???

Btw - Anyone know if/where you can buy a "cash card" for Amazon?

Got a niece's B-Day coming up (too young to have a credit card) -but- she wants to order stuff from Amazon for her gifts  :o

Yeah you can usually find Amazon cards on the gift card racks at stores (I believe they come in $25 and $50 amounts), or you can order them directly from Amazon
Currently Playing: Dark Souls: Remastered (Switch)

You can purchase a physical card, or just send a digital one (email code.)

Thanks guys!

I actually found some in a convenience store and I got her 1 of each (they did have both the $50 and the $25 cards).

Now, does she need access to one of her parent's Amazon accounts to use them *OR* can they be used (somehow) by someone w/o an Amazon account?

She'll need to either have access to her folk's Amazon account or make her own. But I do believe you need an Amazon account in order to use them either way. I can't remember, since it's been something like 10 years since I started buying from Amazon lol.

Yeah, same here.

I've had my own account (and credit cards) for sooo looong now that *not* having them seems alien to me  :o

It seems kinda weird (to me, at least) that you'd need an account *Anywhere* to use a cash/gift card...I know that (all of the other stores and chains that I know of) you can just walk into and/or use em on their on-line stores.

I was thinking the same thing. If there's some number-code on it somewhere, that's usually all you need for giftcards.

I don't think Amazon has physical stores. It's all online. And you kinda need an account for various reasons, like order confirmations, returns, etc. :P

All I know is that they bought huge land here in Seattle to set-up an office.  Also, some warehouses in other areas.  Stores, I don't think so.

Please check out the games I have for sale.

Why didn't anyone ever make a Thundercats video game?

That's a real good question.  Maybe, it was already over by the time the NES got big.  There wasn't a Voltron game either.

It was prime for NES, the cartoon series ran from 1985-1989, and the comic series in 1986.

I was recently thinking that I'd love to see a He-Man game in the vein of Darksiders.  Seems like it would be the perfect fit.
"When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed

became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the
desire to be very grown up.” ― C.S. Lewis
