If there's one gripe I really have with Amazon, it's that they have a tendency to cancel your order. Usually, they'll send a nondescript email that you probably won't notice until you start to wonder why your order hasn't came. But this time, they cancelled right away and there was no email at all. Here I was thinking I had ordered a present for someone and it was sitting there cancelled since day 1. WTF.

A friend tweeted that he had the same thing happen. Out of all the stuff he ordered for gifts, all but one minor item was cancelled. I don't think I've ever had that happen to me, but it does scare me for sure...

Contra III: The Alien Wars is quite possibly the hardest game I've ever played. I never tried to play it until I was an adult. This thing is oldschool Nintendo hard

Have you ever been on eBay and felt like just maybe, your maximum bid was manipulated perhaps by a bot or something so that you'd have to honor your top dollar? I kind of thought that today. Set max bid pretty high because I wanted to win it. Far above the next suggested increment. What do you know? I won! At the exact dollar amount of my max bid with no time left for any bid retaliation. Just seems.... I dunno, unlikely.

It's so weird to me that Amazon is "sold out" of PSN $10 and $20 codes.  The cheapest you can buy is $50.

Damn! I was going for a speed run trophy in Shadow Complex and missed it by 9 minutes because I had to backtrack for a missing item. I still got another speed run trophy on the hardest difficulty, but it means I'll need to play the game one more time in order to get the platinum.
