Nice! I have always wanted to give one a try but I have never even seen one in person.

The phrase is flung around too loosely for it to really mean anything, but the Lynx was genuinely ahead of its time - there was only five months difference between the original Game Boy and Lynx release dates! It does go to show that technical power really doesn't mean a thing when it comes to commercial success, but it still deserved to do better than it did.

Atari is definitely one of the companies that honestly should have done better than it did. I honestly think that Atari is an undeniable reason why gaming is as popular as it is. I never touched a lynx either (I cant even recall seeing one for sale). Nice on your dad to find it.
