just take your computer usb keyboard and hook it up to your ps3.. should work.. sorry to hear that as well.. as for OS recovery disk they sell those for 25 whatever brand you have. You should look into having some sort of backup because of this reason.. like a second HD or the cloud. even a ghost image of your computer is pretty nice as well.

Ha ya that sucks. I hate navigating the internet on anything other than a PC. Even though I do so a lot on my phone, it drives me crazy sometimes. Especially trying to touch the correct link.

I use my PS3 about the same amount as the comp.

I've got a Logitech, wireless/Bluetooth keyboard (for ~$20, or so) that works great w/ my PS3.

Also, once you get used to using the PS3's "Predictive-Text" feature, it pretty much kicks-ass, too :)

I built a gaming PC a few years back, and about a year ago I picked up a fairly expensive video card to max a few games I was playing at the time. About a week after that the mother board, power supply, and video card all got fried by lightning. It was a bout 8 months before I got another computer, (went with a macbook pro), so I know what it is like, sorry to hear it.

But like the others said, try the keyboard on the PS3. I was going to do that for FFXIV whenever it released.

Boy I'm glad. I was questioning the direction of my life while you were gone that 36 hours.
