23. Final Fantasy 2 (GBA)This game was a chore. The unique battle-system may be familiar to Elder Scrolls players, as it rewards your level-up by enhancing those skills or abilities you use the most. Well, that also applies to spell-levels. So you end up just grinding like hell to get certain magic-users spells and MP up. Only to have to do all over again when you discover a new spell.
So if you go into this game, expect to spend a good while doing random-encounters.
Otherwise it was pretty much your average 8-bit JRPG. Enjoyable, but repetitive. And it has a bit more of a focus on the characters involved, rather than just a generic save-the-world story like the first game.
On a side-note: It is the first game to feature the famous Chocobo.
