Starting with Origin, Ive been on an Ys kick. Ive beaten Origin, VIII, I & II, III (Genesis) and just last night I finished the translated version of IV Mask of the Sun. I have V ready to go. After that, its Napishtim and finally 7 (Hopefully 7 getting a PS4 release since it just got a steam release).

I love the NES game. And have played through it many times. This is the first time I've played through the GB Color version, though. It's for the most part the same game. But there are enough differences to make this one worth playing through.

First and foremost, the music in the NES version is soooo much better. And the final area was much cooler on the NES version. But it's not like that makes it a bad game, or anything. I still had a lot of fun playing through it. The controls and gameplay are still as fun as ever. And it was neat seeing what had changed.

If you're a Game Boy collector, this one is quite worthy to add to your handheld collection.

The 100% for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker has been finished. I originally completed this on the PSP when it first released, but it works just fine as a console game too. The game is setup in bite-sized missions, but they still work well portable or not. Always liked the story to Peace Walker, has a lot of great moments. Like the other MGS games, it has a wonderful OST as well. My only gripe is the large amount of repeat fights against the armored vehicles in the extra ops. More so quantity over quality with those missions it seems. Overall, the HD version of Peace Walker is just as good as the original, if not better just for the control scheme. V for victory, rocket peace!

I cheated on this one. When I was on my last bit of health on my last life, I turned on the Game Genie code to be unhittable.

Fun beat-em up. But pretty basic, even by beat-em up standards. You have to be a Marvel fan to enjoy this one. The cutscenes REALLY could have used more than just text. At least some still artwork.

Recently fully completed Pokémon Gold and Silver (251 Pokédex no cheats but a glitch for Celebi) on 3DS Virtual Console. :)

I missed out being able to do this in the past and then the save battery issue became more relevant as time went on.

I've been thinking of buying those but I still own Crystal on GBC... Do you think it's worth it?

I finally finished Dungeon Travelers 2. And, there is still a good 50 hours or so of post-game content to go. I won't be touching it, but it's amazing just how much stuff they packed into this game. What looks like just another, innocent dungeon crawler turns out to be a grueling adventure that only the most experienced fans of the genre will enjoy.

It'll be a while before I start another dungeon crawler because this one wore me out. Other dungeon crawlers will have some serious shoes to fill because DT2 hit all the right notes AND delivered some of the most hilarious, over-the-top graphics.

I haven't QUITE finished it, but I defeated Grandmaster Nimzo during some down time at work... just in time for the release of Pokemon Ultra Sun.

I kind of want to do some extra stuff, but I definitely feel like I liked DQ4 more than DQ5.  I do however feel that DQ5 didn't require me to do as much grinding.  I mean, I did pretty much get bored and spent a week straight grinding against LMS until my team was over lvl 40, but I didn't have to, I just felt like mindless grinding rather than proceeding with the story.

As much as I'd like to start DQ6, I think I'll take a break and play some Ultra Sun.
