Complete List of PS3 RPGs - Help!

Ok, I'm trying to get a definitive list of PS3 RPGs to work off of for my collection.  A couple of small caveats, I'm looking for US released games only and games that had a physical release.  I'm also including games that are confirmed but have yet to be released.  Please look it over & let me know if I'm missing anything - I grabbed a partial list from another site and tried to fill in the blanks as best I could, but I'm only one man! 

Oh, and feel free to bring up any "Game X that you have listed isn't an RPG" complaints.  Some of these I may not be terribly familiar with - and some I may just plain disagree with you on (I think the Yakuza games fulfill all the requirements of an RPG, but others will probably disagree ).  Thanks!

Matt's list confirmed what I was thinking when I first read your list : Marvel games are not RPGs. I dont understand how some people consider stuff like Borderlands or Fallout to be RPGs either. Its like the Paper Mario series.

Fallout 3 or New Vegas is the same as Skyrim or Oblivion. Only with guns instead of swords & magic.

I got to agree w/ Scott here...especially since "VATS" (in Fallout 3) pretty much allows you to 'pause'/'stop' the action & allow you as much time as you want and/or need to make your choices & take your actions.

Also, *BIG* Props to Matt on that PS3 RPG list; as it also lists & includes all of the different Limited/Collector's Edition versions of each game

I just watched the official trailer for Fallout 3. Its a shooter with aspect. I cant consider that crap an RPG.

There's no way that Fallout is not an RPG.   

As for the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games, they are Diablo with a Marvel skin.  So if they aren't RPGs then neither is Diablo.  Borderlands is Diablo in first person, and I need to add it to my list.

Really appreciate the list matt, I see several I need to add.  I started my list as a personal checklist for my collection, so I don't need to know every version of every game (thankfully, I don't feel the need to go THAT far ) but I'm sure that info will be useful to others.

Skyrim is a fully story driven game with open world exploration. There's a full featured skill system filled with more than just making you shoot / kill better.

Fallout is a fully story driven game with open world exploration. The VATS system takes away any need to play it as an FPS (and plays better that way). There's a full featured skill system filled with more than just making you shoot / kill better.

Its the same game with a different setting / theme. If Fallout isn't a RPG, then Skyrim/ Oblivion/ Morrowind aren't RPGs.

I tell you what. Im going to pick up the game (step son noticed I was watching the trailer and now he wants it). I will make another determination then.

I still consider Fallout 3, Skyrim, and Paper Mario RPGs.  Yes, they might be more loosely defined compared to a tabletop or traditional Final Fantasy model, but they still maintain solid RPG elements.  We don't want to dismiss Western RPGs completely just because they focus on different things than their Japanese counterparts.
