Been wanting to play Pacific Drive for awhile, I love scavenging/survival games, the "exclusion zone" idea, much like STALKER, but set in the US and your main gimmick is that you have a car to get you around and acts like a mobile base while out in the field are all cool ideas.  It has pretty good atmosphere, lots of tension, even though I don't think there's any creature threats, none that I've seen yet in a good hour or two of play, it's mostly environmental hazards and these weird drone robots that grab your car and drag it around, damaging it, but I'm digging it, I can see the gameplay loop of going out to scavenge for supplies being fairly addictive for abit before wanting to progress the story for the chance to unlock new things.

Now I mostly play Immortal Romance - I don't know, there's something in that gloomy atmosphere, plus bonuses are quite frequent. Sometimes I also go to Legacy of Dead, but that's when I want something simpler. I used to jump a lot from game to game, until I started to delve a little deeper into the process itself, where RTP is higher, and what mechanics are behind the slots. And in general, I became pickier with platforms. Now I look for licenses and preferably something like the Best online casinos for smart contract technology - more trust when everything is transparent and automated.
I agree, it's better to check platforms nowadays, especially when it comes to security

Ever since I got my new man cave setup around Christmas (98 in Samsung 4K TV), I've finally playing all the PS4/5 games I've been ignoring over the past few years. Currently I'm on a Souls-like streak, having played through Demon's Souls (PS5) three times, Dark Souls Remastered twice, and now on Dark Souls II.

RPG-Maker MV [DE] (Playstation 4)

https://vgcollect.com/item/192012

I finally got back to creating an RPG which delevoped itself in my head since I first got aware of RPG-Makers back in 2001. After a release on PS4 was announced, I started to plan it out and got to work a few years ago, making this vision of mine come to reality seriously for the first time. As expected I lost myself in details sooner or later, got distracted and abandonned this project for another 2 years or so.

Now that I'm back into it, I refueled on motivation, spending hours creating a vivid and interactive game world and an epic tale about discovery, magic and the unevitable bonds of destiny.  8)

I don't really expect this project to find it's way all into a complete game, but I'll at least press it into a playable demo showing off what's possible with this programming tool, using every given function and tool doing so.
For the first time dealing with RPG-Makers I finally understand the way how programming works in them. I figured out how to realize a Job/guild-system, crafting, ingame-literature, footstep-animations and sounds, and am now at the stage of creating the visuals of the game world map and locations, filling them with all possible interactable objects in terms of non-NPC content. Goal is to have the games world with all it's mineable resources and lootable objects set up completely before ploting in the main story line of the game.

In terms of gaming, I'll consider this game finished with the drop of the platinum trophy - I'm one trophy away from that

Nevertheless I'll try to finish my RPG-project at least so far as to getting a demo out. I don't want the thousands of hours I spent on this to be wasted life time completely  :D

After giving up on the Minecraft mod pack, I think I really nailed something with Pacific Drive.  I'm a sucker for survival type games, so one with the hook being that you have a mobile station wagon base that you take out on dangerous trips through hazardous terrain was quite interesting.  It's definitely one of those games where you just want to do "one more run", try and get the supplies you need to research stuff, get new gear, get new parts to help your runs out, cycle continues.  I think I'm near the end of the story, but I have really dug the game.

Poked back into the new Fortnite season after hopping off it a few months, mostly because it's Star Wars themed, and they turned it into a poor man's Battlefront game lol All the weapons are Star Wars based, so no ammo to worry about, there's Tie Fighters and X-Wings you can pick up and they are crazy strong, but can get taken down fairly fast, and there's of course the lightsaber abilities.

I still have my issues with the game as there are a lot of bots in every match (It's gotta be a 1/4 to a 1/3rd of the matches, I swear), but having so much be focused around the one theme is a little different than usual.  Could've used more I feel if they really wanted to sell the theme, a few more guns, some land vehicles like a land speeder and AT-ST, but it's fine so far.  Got my one win I needed off a kinda crazy sniper shot.  Figuring out the weapon control on some of these blasters is a little odd compared to guns before lol

Is this game on anyone elses radar? Im probably gonna preorder it for 35. Support an indie dev making stuff at decent price. The concept has pulled me in since I first saw it.

Embark upon The Midnight Walk in this reverent dark fantasy adventure built in clay, from the minds behind Lost in Random, Fe and Ghost Giant. Become The Burnt One, befriend a lost lantern creature named Potboy, and use his flame to light your way through a conflicting world of wonder and horror.

I thought V Rising had just hit 1.0, but apparently it came out last year and with a 50% sale, seemed like a good time to check it out.  Decent survival/crafting game, isometric sort of setup, general action hack and slash, and cool getting to be a Vampire.  The downside of not being able to go out in the day, or being careful by zipping between tree patches is possible, isn't the most fun, but they did make it so that night time is generally longer than day and you can buff sun resistance to some degree with gear and potions that I don't have yet.

It gives me Valheim vibes, just abit less of a giant sandbox, which I appreciate as you don't feel like you are just wandering endlessly through a gigantic map.  Gameplay is a solid top down sort of action game, simple attacks, dodge, spells and abilities to throughout, sort of like a Diablo I guess, but not a loot grinder in the same way.  It's not my favorite gameplay, I'd probably prefer something a little more straight third person, behind the character sort of setup, but it's not bad.

Should be a decent time though.

I stopped playing World of Warcraft about year or so ago, because the latest expansion didn't really interest me.  Been getting bored during the day, and they had a great deal for the expansion and bunch of game time, so I re-upped mostly just to get through the story of the new content, and I'm finding myself surprisingly into it.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance [DE] (PS2)
https://vgcollect.com/item/111064

In between mentaly challenging RPG-Maker programming sessions, I started my 1st serious playthrough of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance

A Game I really used to enjoy back in the day for it's more arcadish approach to RPG's than I was used to before. Diving back into this almost 2 decades later, despite being this old, I think this title aged quite well and is still highly playable, at least to me.
I started off finishing the first chapter of the game in just a few hours and will continue playing this evening. Wish I had a buddy to team up with, but it's also a welcome challenge to me to beat this on solo.

I just love revisiting games of my childhood and youth as an adult. They all seem way harder to beat than when I was a child, tho ...  ;D But on the other hand, playing those titles with an adult mind lets you discover details and understand connections within the games' storylines, that you may've not been aware of when younger. Besides that, I always kinda liked games set in the D&D universe.

So far, it's a great experience, and I hope to get through the rest of the game as smoothly as I got through chapter 1.

Icy Cavern lies ahead ... *pulls Falchion* ...
