I just passed 600 Xbox 360 games with the purchase of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City: Special Edition

Also just passed 3400 games

 :o

That's astounding! I haven't even hit 1,000 games yet. 700 something.

Sweet Baby Jesus!  That's a lot of games. And when people on a collector site say that, that's a lot of games.

If you want even bigger looking numbers, he's got about 10.1 times as many games as I do haha :) (I've got 310, don't look at my signature; there's a lot of swag and consoles and accessories counted there)

Congrats, by the way! That's really amazing. I bet that looks crazy in your room!

Just out of curiosity - did you buy most of these games new at retail, on clearance, used? I'm a Xbox 360 collector too so I'm a little curious.

I try to pick up most of mine clearance, but have had to buy a few used over the years because of such limited retail releases.

I remember when Record of Agarest War Limited Edition was coming out and I was thinking I better pick that up before it skyrockets in the aftermarket and it would make it hard to ever realize a complete 360 game collection for North America releases - then I saw it came with a mousepad that was a little disturbing. I passed on it. Oh well - it's still around $70 used and $150 new. Not as bad as it could get.

I thought that mousepad was full of awesome. You never see things like that States side, normally they stay in Japan.

I have picked up 99% of them on clearance and used. I try not to spend more than $5 each but if it's a game that I have been looking for I'll sometimes pay more.

Picked up a box of NES games, which finally pushed me past the 50% mark in the NES catalog.  Now the really steep uphill climb can begin :/  Plus it only leaves Donkey Kong and Stack-Up as my only remaining black box games to pick up.

I would have expected Stack Up and Donkey Kong Jr. Math, but I bit the bullet and found ad DKJr. Math for a decent price.

DK Jr math isnt a tough cart to find. The box, on the other hand, is stupidly expensive.

Sounds like Kid Dracula on Game Boy. You can find carts all day long on ebay, but I've never seen a box for it and only the occassional manual.

I officially have all the Nintendo Gamecube games that I was actively searching for since starting to collect for the Gamecube around 2-years ago. I found Resident Evil Code Veronica X today for $30 at a local game store, which officially ended my Gamecube collecting. I am both happy and relieved it is over because Gamecube collecting seems to be getting more expensive by the day lol.

Not really. The collection count here includes systems, accessories, and books/comics.
