Title: February 2016 Pick Up's and Finds.
Post by: spac316 on February 02, 2016, 07:14:24 pm
Well, I think I'll start this thread.

I recently got the Ike Amiibo from a fella locally. I then got Mechassault for XBox, Columns for Game Gear and Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 4 for GBC(cib).
I also just got my first import N64 game, New Japan Pro-Wrestling: Toukon Road-Brave Spirits!

I added these three games to my collection in late January and early February. Normally I wouldn't show off, but I can't help it this time!
The first one of the three I purchased was Mother 3, seeing as this year is the game's tenth anniversary it seemed fitting. I own an English reproduction, but this one is the authentic Japanese version.
The second game I bought was EarthBound (It's been a Mother month I suppose). It's only in fair condition (label damage and some fading, as well as sharpie on the back of the game pak), even so I think I got a good deal on it.
The final game is the cult classic Chex Quest which I've been trying to add to my collection for a while. I came across an old obsolete software lot on eBay, one of the pieces of software was Chex Quest. Ended up getting it (plus a load of other crappy software) for a steal.

Good snag on the Earthbound.  Hope you like it.  It's a great one to have in the collection

Got the NTSC-J of Metroid: Fusion in the mail the other day.
Only took six days to ship from Japan to the north of Sweden.
Usually takes longer... much longer for the stuff I order to arrive.

My old PAL release can be seen lurking in the back.

Just felt like watermarking it with "romanticore vgcollect.com".  :) I'll gladly replace the picture upon an administrator request.

I'm adding The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Witcher_2:_Assassins_of_Kings) to my collection, my list of digital games is increasing this year even when I do prefer to have physical copies of my titles but seriously need to add another NES cartridges to the collection before they become more expensive also the dollar is kinda expensive right now  :o

LOL...not really.  I got fantastic deals on many of these.  Right now, Star Wars games are still pretty cheap but I have already seen some rising in price because the hoopla of a new movie being out.  The local gaming store let me go to the back of their warehouse area and dig through box after box of PC titles.  I found about 10 there.  And I can't believe I forgot to list the N64 Star Wars Racer bundle.  It's in the box, but missing the game manual.  I'll have to pick one up.   :'(

Right now, I have another 11 games on my wish list, seven of those for GameBoy, GameBoy Advance and DS.   :P

Ay carumba! That's one awesome Star Wars collection!

Thanks!  Like I was telling dashv, many of these games I got super-cheap because they are A)  PC titles and B) Star Wars mania hasn't hit fever pitch yet so many games can still be found for reasonable prices.  I think aside from the Old Republic Collector's Edition which I paid $50 with shipping for (the Darth Malgus statue alone was worth more than that!), the most I have paid for a single game was just under $20.

Cool!  I'm trying to go for those complete in the box and from the prices I am seeing on eBay, they aren't expensive at all.  Most of them are around $10 plus shipping for really nice copies.

I'm a little broke this month.
I did pick up Sonic Unleashed on PS3 and I plan on getting DigimonStory: Cybersleuth on PS4 this weekend. I hope that game is as good as it looks.

The Trooper? http://www.brandsforfans.se/trooper/the-drinks.html (http://www.brandsforfans.se/trooper/the-drinks.html) It's pretty nice! :) In Sweden we've got this company that houses beer for a lot of (metal) bands. Not sure if it's the same in the States, but I really like the Motörhead Bastards Lager Beer.

Yeah...the Trooper!  Me want! Most of those craft beers never make it to the States, at least not where I live.  It's all Budweiser stuff for the most part.  Sam Adams, Corona and Heineken are readily available as well.  Oh, and Blue Moon.

Let me tell you about where I live. Mind you, I love it here because it's the country, people aren't jammed up my rear and I get to see beautiful wildlife including deer, turkey, a very rare mountain lion appearance, Bobcats, chipmunks, turtles, squirrels, raccoons, quail, coyotes and twice in the last 30 years, a beautiful wolf. Most people are friendly and will strike up a conversation with you. Great, right?

Unfortunately, the political climate is charged and if it ain't Budweiser, it's not really around. I'm not going to get political and I believe everyone has the right to feel, believe, love and vote however they want. But I get real tired of hearing "That commie Mus-lam Osamabama done got it in fear our Guinns!  He's ruined this here country. Gasoline done gone be eight dollars by time he's out!  Who knows when that gonna happen!  He's building FEMA death camps and gone declare martial law!  The Muslim flag gone fly over White House yessiree."  Blah, blah, blah. It gets old. Oh, and everywhere you go with a tv on, it Faux News and their propaganda-laden spiel.

Like I said, I don't care what side of the political spectrum you fall on. But I can't stand hearing that fear mongering bullshit.

This week I picked up another rare gaming console that most of you have never heard of. lol  ::)

PS4
I heard abut this new shooter for PS4 and it was only $20.
- Kromaia Omega

GB
I stopped back at that game store where I picked up that last lot of boxed GB games for $5 a piece and they put out two more and they where only $4 each this time.  :D
- WWF Superstars 2
- Race Drivin'

NES
Saw gamester81 advertise a new NES homebrew, looked kinda cool so I ordered a copy.
- Haunted: Halloween '85

Saw Atari Age added some new games and picked out a few.
Atari 5200
- Pac-Man Arcade
Atari 2600
- Star Castle
- Zippy the Porcupine
I missed out on getting a box for this and after what happened to the Super Mario Bros game for the 2600 I figured a had to get Sonic on the 2600.

Last but not least one more gaming console off my list, a rare system made by Bandai and only released in Japan.
- Bandai Video Mate TV Jack 5000
- Stunt Cycle
The carts remind me a lot of the Fairchild Channel F where they look like 8-Track tapes. Bandai had a series of pong clones in the 70s that where called Video Mate TV Jack 1000, 1500, 2000 etc... and the 5000 was the first Japanese game console that used changeable Cartridges. It came in two colors tan and baby blue. (now I need the tan version)  ::)

Aw, the order my bf placed for that just got cancelled last night, I assume because they ran out of stock for it.  Good job getting one in time :)  He would've preferred it on PS3 anyway, but still would've been worth it to include in the collection at that price.

Ahhh that's a really tough/good question. :) Personally, I would say start with either of the three the PS2. The PS1 games are more primitive and less immersive, the newer ones are kind of removed from what most people like about AC, and are typically not as well liked. (Though I really enjoyed Ace Combat Infinity)

So you're left with AC04, 5 and Zero. Personally I would start with 04. The story of it is a little more scaled back than in the other two games, but it's still really enjoyable. You can spend more time flying around and having fun. Other than that I would say Zero is another solid option to start. But fighterpilot can definitely throw in his two cents about that since he's played Zero and I haven't yet.

There are some games that I also can't speak for but have heard are pretty good:
Ace Combat X (PSP)
Ace Combat 6 (X360)

Lock your doors and bar your windows. Fighterpilot is going to to be hard to fend off!

lol, I'll just play it on the podcast for him  ;)

Purchased Ace Combat Zero from Scarface! I think I now own all the must-have Ace Combat games... maybe Ace Combat X being the last great one to buy.

Thankfully they're all very affordable.  :) Even though I think they only way to get them is just on the PS2 except AC04. I think that's on PSN

Picked up a PSP-1001, 6 games (Need For Speed Most Wanted 5-1-0, NFS Undercover, Twisted Metal Head On, SOCOM Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 2, Tekken Dark Ressurection, and Frogger Helmet Chaos), Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green and Halo 2 on XBOX, and Luigi's Mansion on GameCube. What's really amazing is that copy of Luigi's Mansion had been sitting in the pawn shop I found it in since last April and it was priced at 8 bucks the whole time.

I do not! Though I've hear Air Combat is kind of terrible, other than music. :P Is it a must-have from a collectible standpoint?

It's the first Ace Combat game, just with a name change in the U.S.  I would say it's a must-have if you are a fan of the series.

Had some luck with Thrift stores this week and picked up three new game consoles. One being one of the rarest consoles.

PS4
- Duck Dynasty (on a clearance table for $7)

XBone
- Just Cause 3 (on sale for $35)
- Forza Motorsport 6 (on sale for $31)
- Watch Dogs (on sale for $8)

3DS
- Mario Golf World Tour (on sale for $9)

XB360
- Skyrim Legendary Edition ($8)

PSP
I saw on a Facebook classified page a PSP Go for $20, while not a fan of this download only system, it is a variation of the PSP and it was cheap. Also found these two PSP games at a Goodwill for only $1.50 each.
- My Spanish Coach
- Legend of Heroes

Wii
Saw this was an exclusive Wii game from Mexico and it was dirt cheap.
- El Chavo

NDS
- You Don't Know Jack (on sale for $5)

XB
Found this at the same Goodwill as the PSP games. Was only $3.
- Crash Nitro Kart

GC
Found this at a Salvation Army.
- Naruto: Clash of Ninja ($2)

DC
Finally I picked up the last DC game I needed and now have a complete DC collection.
- NBA 2K2

SAT
Found these at a Salvation Army for $2 each.
- PGA Tour 97
- NHL All-Star Hockey
- Defcon 5

GEN
At that same Salvation Army I saw a small stack of Genesis carts behind the counter and when they showed me the games two of the games I had to buy. The last was a baseball game and they only wanted $2 a piece.
- Streets of Rage 2
- Castlevania Bloodlines

I found this console cheap, I was on the fence about buying it but I couldn't pass it up. The console is so weird looking.
- Interactive Vision

And last a game console that's been on my most wanted list, most people want well over $1,000 for this system and I got for less then half of that. A beautiful console and I'm so happy I was able to get one.
- Sega Wondermega  ;D

I really wish my stores were like this still.  Years ago stuff like this was on the daily.  Now all the Goodwills list stuff on Amazon and ebay if it is worth over $10.  Pawnshops list stuff on craigslist and ebay and price over VGPC.  Game stores price super high, and if you catch them slipping, they change the price and threaten to kick you out.  Even garage sales folks want ridiculous prices because they heard video games were worth gold.

I so sad.

In other news, I picked up Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2 for $4 and while I was at that same place I picked up a copy of Unreal Tournament for the PS2 off the shelf and opened it up, had the manual, but it had Kensei Sacred Fist for PS1 in the case, so I bought that too for $4.  These are the deals I find now.  I think this might be my first "retro" pick up of the year.

I also regretfully took part in that Buy 1 Get 2 free at Target, got Resident Evil Revelation 2 (PS4), Heroes of Ruin (3DS), and Murdered: Soul Suspect (PS4) for $30.  I had a gift card so really I only paid $3, but I wish I had waited a day to get them to price match RER2 with BB to get all of the games for $20 instead.  The store was erroneously ringing up the game for $30, but I couldn't prove the other stores had it for $20.

Also got my big BAWX from Soera.  Tons of fun stuff in it.

And I was talking with my wife about this one Tiny Toon game I used to love as a kid and how I was going to play it soon, then I realized that the Tiny Toon game I had wasn't the one I had referred to... so I bought it and another 5 or so games because they were cheap, those should all be coming in the mail in the next week or two.

I hear ya, I gave up on thrift stores for a long time, but I've had some great luck with two in my area lately. So I've been hitting them every week. The store where I got the Genesis and Saturn games also had a NES system with 2 controllers for $28. I didn't buy it.
I tried hitting all the other thrift stores in my area and all the others where the same crap. So I'm hitting the one Salvation Army and the one Goodwill that I've been having luck with til they ruin it.

Here Craigslist is a joke, mostly overpriced and any good deals are snatched up by resellers so fast no one else has a chance.
I have several Pawn shops around here but I never find anything worth buying there. Most here wont even take in anything retro.
Most prices are jacked up I don't know how they stay in business.

I still have luck from garage sales, but I do get those people who jack up prices. I even had to pull out the VGPG app and show them where prices should be and they need to beat that if they want to sell anything.

That was a pretty big week for me, first with my moving and now with unpacking all that stuff, still need to create a few shelves to finally sort everything, it will be a busy month  ::)

But i've still got a few things:

First from a friend that came to help me and he didn't come empty-handed, he found a pack of old PC games in Big Box for 1€ each at a thrift shop, he doesn't care about them but know how much i love them :

-The 7th Guest (cib)
-The 11th Hour (cib)
-Tex Murphy Overseer (cib)
-Under a Killing Moon (cib)
-Dark Project (aka Thief: The Dark Project) (cib)
-Dark Project II (aka Thief II: The Metal Age) (cib)
-Civilization II (cib)
-Star Wars Force Commander, and it come with Star Wars Rebellion inside too as it is stated on the box (cib for Force Commander, only have the disk for Rebellion)
-Dragon Lore II (cib)
-JSF Joint Strike Fighter (cib)
-Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast  8) (cib)
-Odyssée: Sur les Traces d'Ulysse (aka Odyssey: The Search for Ulysses) (cib)
-Gothic II (cib)... and that i don't think he found it at the thrift shop (and not for one €...) but i accepted it anyway, it's the German edition of my favorite pc game in a very pretty box.

I've received my Wootbox, a sort of LootCrate but made by a French website, a bit less pricey than LootCrate but not so much stuff inside, that month theme was Fantasy and i've got a Funko Pop Skyrim (the Daedric Warrior), a t-shirt GoT/Warcraft crossover, a little (and i really say little) poster of GoT, the first book of The Witcher (that i already have) and a card game with characters from Warcraft, LotR, Thor and Zelda, that was my first box from that site and probably the last (unless the theme is really something i like).

Found a shop that was having a sale on a few sealed games, i've got:
- Defiance Collector's Edition for Defiance on PS3 for 12€
- Risen 2 Collector's Edition for Xbox 360 for 9,99€
- Game of Thrones: Genesis Collector's Edition on PC for 5€ (not much of a collector for this one, a pretty steelbook, two artworks and a small poster of the map)
- Call of Duty Black Ops II on WiiU for 3€
- Resident Evil Revelations on 3DS for 3€

And my last finding was at a thrift shop, got a few games for 1€ each:
-Saint Seiya: Sanctuary (PS2) (missing manual)
-Galleon (Xbox) (missing manual)
-Battle Engine Aquila (PS2) (cib)
-Aliens Vs Predator Extinction (PS2) (cib)
-Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown (PS2) (cib)
-Guncom 2 (PS2) (cib)
-Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2 (PSP) (cib)
-Prince of Persia: Revelations (PSP) (cib)
-Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow (PSP) (cib)

In the same shop i've found:
-W.I.T.C.H. on GBA (cib) for 2€
-The Dreamcast Keyboard for 5,99€ (sadly not cib, missing any documentation that was inside)
And my last item is also my only regret for this week: the Collector's Edition for Batman Arkham Asylum on Xbox 360 for 10€, the slipcase need a LOT a cleaning with all the old half-removed prices and it is also broken on the right side but i don't really mind that... the bad thing was when i opened that box, that Batarang... seriously that Batarang, a piece of plastic glued to it's socle (yes i would have throw it a few times  :-[) and scratched all over, i thought it was only mine that was like that since it was used but no it's the original state of that item... Just why Eidos... Why ?

Theflea,

Congrats on completing your Dreamcast collection!

Thanks man, It was my goal for last year and I came close with all but one.
For some reason I had a tough time finding this last game that wasn't over $10.

This year I hope to complete my US NES collection (not counting holy grail games like NWC90, Stadium Events, Cheetahmen 2, etc...)

So yeah due to those End labels I bought for my N64 games I went from 4 games left that I wanted to 20 either due to remembering that I heard good things about them, had other games in the series, or just seeing for the longest time at a game store that's no longer around... already got it down to 15 at least. only recieve 2 so far

War Gods
Xena Warrior Princess: Talisman of Fate

...Might be adding more games to this list I'm really starting to think the N64 has one of the more underrated library of games

...Might be adding more games to this list I'm really starting to think the N64 has one of the more underrated library of games

Play the Xena game first, then tell me if you think that ones underrated.

;)

Better yet, stream it to the channel.

So yeah due to those End labels I bought for my N64 games I went from 4 games left that I wanted to 20 either due to remembering that I heard good things about them, had other games in the series, or just seeing for the longest time at a game store that's no longer around... already got it down to 15 at least. only recieve 2 so far

It was pretty awesome, especially since I was planning on buying a copy. Now I don't have to. :) The seller even left a nice little thank you note in Japanese.

I bought a pack of end labels from a guy, I've not used any of them.  Partially because some of my carts suck, so I kind of wanna do label upgrades first.  Partially because I use UGCs, so there is no need for end labels.

Sonic 3D Blast is actually an excellent game in my opinion and I don't know why it gets so much hate. The Sega Genesis version is good but the Saturn version is definitive because of the music and the better looking graphics. It's definitely worth a play if you've go the time.

I think a lot of the hate stems from the move to 3D.  I didn't care for the gameplay, much as I didn't care for the gameplay of Super Mario 64.  Everything just seemed clumsy to me.  Just personal opinion of course.  About two years ago, I came into possession of a mint condition, complete copy of Sonic 3D Blast for the Saturn.  It was a gorgeous copy.  A friend of mine really wanted it so I sold it to him.

I have Sonic 3D Blast for Saturn but it's missing the manual (meh) and I have a copy for Genesis as well and I've played and beat them both. I always liked those isometric games. Just recently I bought a game called Whizz for SNES because it was cheap and looked cool (occasionally I buy games just based off of the cover) and BINGO! It was an isometric 3D game and I love it. I also like a game called Ka-Blooey for SNES and it's in isometric style but it's more of a puzzler type game. I don't consider the isometric view to be 3D though, it's just a tilted take on the overhead view to me.

I had Sonic 3D Blast for my Saturn. But I sold my Saturn collection a few months back. So this was a replacement copy.

Yeah, the Saturn version is better. With some added animations and such. But it's not a HUGE difference. The Genesis version is still basically the same game and quite playable.

They pretty much are identical yes, I think the only difference is the bonus stages. Fun fact, the PC version has different bonus stages as well. The music in the Saturn version though, it's just incredible. My favorite track in the Genesis version is from the Ice world which funnily enough was used in Sonic RPG for Nintendo DS.

lol years ago my brother in law told me how he had an NES and a bunch of games as a kid but he couldn't remember what games he had besides Zelda.  Said he would go through his parents garage at some point and give me the stuff.  That was shortly after I met my wife... in 2007.

I got mail today.  I was slightly confused because I thought it was something else.  It was the first run Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection with the artbook.  Someone listed it on Amazon complete for like $10, so I snatched it up.

Just got Tiny Toon Adventures Toonenstein and Disney's PK out of the shadows (GCN) in the mail.

Went to visit Gamestop and realized I had some unused coupons so I bought Fragile Dreams (Wii), Mortal Kombat Armageddon (Wii), Mega Man Zero Collection (DS), Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow (DS), and Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition (360).

Should be getting Chrono Cross (PSX) in the mail later today from Amazon, hopefully it's black label, if not oh well, I got it dirt cheap.

Wishlist is down to 115 and I still have 2 more on the way.  Getting close to my 2016 goal of getting it under 100.  Started at around 200 at the beginning of the year... most of that I think was deciding I didn't want the game any more.

Did some shopping yesturday and picked up Greninja, Pink Yoshi, Resetti and Xenoblade Chronicles X. From Soera I bought the indigo GameCube, Jigglypuff and House of the Dead Overkill.

I also did a bunch of ebay importing. The Game Boy games were in small, unlabeled lots so I got them for very cheap. As you can see I do have some spares. I'll go through and test them and put them up for sale soon along with some other games I'm not interested in. Now for the actual inventory I picked up:

The better half finally arrived.

No I'm not talking about my wife. I'm talking about Saturday Morning RPG and its extra limited edition soundtrack.

This is the first truly ultra rare thing I've ever owned.

But I mostly got it because I've been a fan of this game since it came out for iOS almost 4 years ago. :)

This looked to cool not to buy.

XB360
- Shadow of Mordor (on sale for $7)

PS3
Found this at a thrift store for $3.

I've got to a little market this Sunday morning that sell fruits, vegetables and a few other little things but no game, nothing electronic whatsoever, so i was just planning to buy some fruits (and that was fine by me since i try to not add anymore games until i unpack most of my stuff and i already have a lot of things to sort from the last time) and... well i've seen that a fruits seller got a little plastic bag on the side with a few games inside, asked him what it was and he told me that he found some of his old games while cleaning and wanted to see if someone wanted them, he just wanted to get rid of it, he had 5 games inside for 5€ (so 1€ each game), i took the full bag, what was inside ?

-Ty 2 (PS2 - PAL - CIB)
Didn't have it and didn't know that series, well one more PS2 game for my collection.

-Project I.G.I (PC - PAL - CIB)
Same thing here, never heard of it before, the cover is slightly damaged at the bottom but i don't mind.

-GTA Liberty City Stories (PS2 - PAL - no manual)
Already have it on PSP but one more game to go in my PS2 collection.

-F-Zero GX (Player's Choice version) (GC - PAL - no manual)
I wanted this one from a long time now, don't really care that it don't have the manual but i will have to get a new case since this one is broken, made me fear a little for the disc but no just some light scratches.

-Okami (PS2 - PAL - CIB)
I already found this one... during December if i remember correctly but i was still missing the manual (french edition of course), now i have it and with a backup disc & cover just in case and all that for a single euro.

I think 2016 begins well and most of the big flea markets have yet to start in my area  8)

Been adding to my PS4 collection lately ... but picked up a couple of pieces that most people have probably never seen before and those are some controllers. I have a weird obsession with the variety of controllers that are released for Sony systems and the PS4 is no exception.

I just recently got the last (and most uncommon one) : http://vgcollect.com/item/98330

I got mine last night and am loving playing Mega Man on the go, it takes me back to the days of playing Mega Man: Dr Wily's Revenge on Game Boy Color. The extra goodies included are pretty nice too, I love the postcards and the stickers. I'm very tempted to put the stickers on my laptop but I think future me would regret it. Overall for fifty bucks, (47.99 from Amazon) I think it's a great value.

Oh yeah, and the Golden Mega Man is freaking sweet!

I almost imported the LE. Until I learned they give download codes for the extra content and you need to have an account in that country to download it.

I got Gravity Rush as well... Didn't want to find it sold out without extra printings later on down the line. (Plus, got it during the Prime discount period.)

I have Child of Light digitally, but I feel like I should get the physical version, too. Does it have a manual at all?

If you could, that would be amazing.  I spent one day on a trip going down to a game store, stopping at every Walgreens I could to see if they had it.  I think I went to at least 6 lol

Here's a picture of it.  I have the red one and I currently own most all of the figures in the line other than I saw that there were two new ones for Sheik and Ocarian of Time Link I need to buy.  Also I notice they call it "White" Link.  Odd since it was the blue ring in the game that turned him into the light blue color.

Yup, no problem! I'll be out and about tomorrow and there are a lot of Walgreens around. I read that the white Link wasn't necessarily exclusive to Walgreens, but I'm sure they're still difficult to find.

had an incredible week and had the best find from a thrift store. So much that it takes four pics to show it all.

Those are the kind of thrift shop finds that come oh so very little lol Last time I had that happen, it was like 15 to 20 Dreamcast games between two Salvation Army stores in the same day, but that was something like 3 years ago.

Well, I also had an awesome thrift store find, but not that awesome...

If anyone is wondering, it's the last of the Papyrus/Sierra NASCAR games, which were more realistic than their EA counterparts and it's very popular with modders because of this. I'm not a big NASCAR fan, but I'll take a $65 game for $1 any day.

Huh. Had no idea that something like that would be valuable, haha.  Learned something new!

It's so interesting how expensive some of these old sports games are.  EA Sports MVP Baseball 2005 PC is another very expensive one due to it being the last game in the series and the modding community.  I actually downloaded a mod about a month ago that had new stadiums, rosters, uniforms, etc. all updated for the 2015 season.

Grabbed another largely overlooked gem.

Now that I own 3 physical Vita games I should probably buy a Vita. :)

If anyone is looking to get rid of theirs send me a pm. :)

Yeah some PC games gets pretty pricey, last year i found a Falcon 4.0 in his Bigbox (CIB) for 1€ at a flea market (i usually take all PC games in Bigbox i can find, i love them  :-[) and i was pretty shocked when i came home and put it in my collection, i was searching a picture to put it on Collectorz (the software i use to sort my collection), and like always i checked on the usual sites, the first offer on Amazon was at ~140€ (~150$)  :o, "HOLY ****... nah it can't be that much, it's just an old flight sim, let's check on Ebay" well on Ebay for my version the prices usually goes between 40€-60€ with a good 10/20€ for shipping. i played to a lot of Flight Simulator between 1999 to 2004 but never heard of this one ???

There was a garage sale in my area and i couldn't resist, well nothing "awesome" but i didn't come home empty handed.

Almost everything i've found was at 1€:

PC
Crusaders: Thy Kingdom Come (CIB)
X-Blades (CIB) - a pretty good edition that come with a Strategy Guide and a poster
Starship Troopers (CIB)
Gast (CIB)
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (CIB) - i've stopped playing this years ago but it will find a place in my collection beside the others that i still have.
Command & Conquer 3 (CIB... well in that edition it just come with a little piece of paper with the serial on it)
Dracula: Résurrection (CIB i guess, the barcode is on the back cover and the front cover is also the manual, can't tell if it came with a Bigbox or not)
Nascar Racing 2 (CIB and Bigbox  ;))
Revenant (CIB and Bigbox too  8))

Consoles
Need for Speed: Poursuite Infernale 2 (Hot Pursuit 2) (No Manual - PS2)
Prince of Persia: Rival Swords (CIB - PSP)
We Rock: Drum King (CIB - Wii)
Sly Cooper: Voleurs à Travers le Temps (Thieves in Time) (CIB - PS3 - this one was at 4€)
Disruptor (The front cover is missing - PS1)
Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition (CIB - 3DS - i didn't got this one at the garage sale but at a thrift store yesterday for 2,99€)

I've found two manga artbook (3€ each), Lost Angel by Yuki Kaoru (based on Angel Sanctuary) and Inoue Takehiko Illustration Collection (Slam Dunk) and while i don't buy video game magazine anymore i've still brought this one (JeuxVidéoMagazine.com n°182) this morning just because it came with a good looking little artbook.

I've also got (for free) a big stock of PS1/PS2 demo (~30), a Dreamkey with the Dreamon Disc Vol.17 inside it and a few others disc containing trailer of games. I still didn't check anything yet but two disc already attracts my eyes, one called "Medievil Special" and the other just have the FF8 logo.

had an incredible week and had the best find from a thrift store. So much that it takes four pics to show it all.

XBone
- Farcry Primal - Deluxe Edition
- Mega Man Legacy Collection
- Alien Isolation (was at a Target and found this game with no price, I scanned it and again no price. I asked an employee and he was confused by it not scanning a price, he asked a manager and he just made a price for it $13)

3DS

SNES
- Jeopardy (sealed)
- Family Feud (sealed)
GB
- Spy vs. Spy
- Mystical Ninja

Stopped at a used game store and saw they got a R.O.B. in the box. I asked about selling just the box and after haggling we agreed on $15. The box is pretty beat up but I can't beat the price.

Now for the thrift stores...

I hit many thrift stores this week and had a HUGE SCORE from one of them.

I found Namco Museum vol. 2 loose disc for $1... okay, you win.

Seriously jealous about that Power Stone 2 and MGS Twin Snakes... as well as almost every single one of those finds.  I miss hunting like this and picking up tons of stuff, but I just don't have the time and money.

Finally got this so I can play Raiden II at home! I used to play the crap out of the arcade at a local pizza place in our town when I was younger.

Got it alongside very fun Ys: Ark of Napishtim:

I just imagine Theflea has this game magnetization device that he designed, where it pulls in anything of the plastic ratio found in all type of video games within a 100 foot radius. He just drives down random streets on full blast, and games come busting out of houses and into his van, while it plays that little ice cream truck jingle.

I really don't see how else it's possible.  :P

I went a little overboard this past weekend on finds. I had gotten a state refund check on Friday and it was burning a hole in my pocket.  :P

3DS
Megaman Legacy Collection w/Gold Megaman amiibo

Blu-Ray
The Good Dinosaur (3D Release)

Game Boy Color
Looney Tunes: Carrot Crazy (CIB)

Genesis
Disney's Beauty and the Beast: Roar of the Beast (CIB)
Hardball! (CIB)
Haunting starring Polterguy (CIB)
IMG International Tour Tennis (CIB)
James Pond 3 (CIB)
Lotus Turbo Challenge (CIB)
PGA European Tour (CIB)
Space Harrier II (CIB)
Winter Olympic Games (CIB)

Interactive Figures
LEGO Dimensions Back to the Future Level Pack
LEGO Dimensions DC Heroes Team Pack
LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack
LEGO Dimensions Jurassic World Team Pack
LEGO Dimensions LEGO Ninjago Team Pack
LEGO Dimensions Scooby Doo Team Pack
Skylanders SuperChargers Nitro Soda Skimmer
Skylanders Spyro's Adventure Darklight Crypt Set (all pieces minus the bundled Character)
Skylanders Swap Force Tower of Time Set (all pieces minus the bundled Character)
Skylanders Trap Team Fire Trap (I'm amazed I found one out and about)
Skylanders Trap Team Trap Storage Box

LEGO Dimension packs were $10 off + 20% off w/Best Buy's GCU. The Fire Trap and Nitro Soda Skimmer were full price unfortunately. The Storage Box was 25% off at Meijer. Incidentally I saw the SuperChargers equivalent to that at Best Buy for $5 but passed on it (for now...  :P)

NES
Bandai Golf Challenge Pebble Beach (Box and Cart Only)
Pinball Quest (Box and Cart Only)

PS2
Ferrari F355 Challenge

PS3
Afrika (FINALLY)
Armored Core 4
Bleach: Soul Resurreccion
Hail to the Chimp
High Velocity Bowling
Ridge Racer 7

SNES
Disney's Goof Troop (CIB)
Disney's Timon & Pumbaa's Jungle Games (CIB)

The NES, SNES and all but two of the Genesis games came from the same person. The guy runs a booth at the local flea market and he made mention that he has a store where he lives. I thought it was only 15 minutes North of the flea but it turns out it's closer to an hour. He's been having a decent amount of good stuff lately and since I buy from him all the time, he tends to offer me nice bundle pricing.  ;D

Wii
DJ Hero 2 (Completes Turntable bundle)
Ten Pin Alley 2

Like I said, just a hair overboard.  8) It looks like a lot but the Wii games for 0.90¢ each, the PS3 games with the exception of Bleach were $1-5, Ferrari was $3, IMG Tennis and Winter Olympic Games were $3 each. I did splurge on Afrika, it was $28 with no discounts but I was happy to pay as I've been looking for that one for years.

Damn did you really paid 84.99 for the Ninja Warriors ?, I know this title it's kinda expensive and it deserves every cent but really want to believe that you paid less than this quantity also why are we still using the February instead of the March 2016 Pick Up's and Finds thread which also has not been created ?  ???

Yes I paid less than that amount. the gaming store I go to has tiered discounts based on how much you have spent their in total throughout the years. that being said with my discount of 30% (I go their way to much and am the only customer on record with that discount) I believe I paid something like $60 (65 by my calculation). I just have this thing where I like to keep all price tags on my Items as sort of a price point throughout the years. I think the best I have is a ps2 game from gamestop that has like 10 price tags lol.

Im in the February still because these were all my finds from February 1st-29th.

Still a good price, the game at Mercado Libre is around the 100 bucks and it's becoming more expensive, searched for this one at the end of this past 2015 and it was near the 80 so for me it seems almost impossible to get it, for you is an awesome addition to your collection  ;)
