Marketplace / Couple Zelda items, Army Men toy, Akiba's Trip PS4
« on: November 14, 2016, 04:16:41 pm »

Just send a message if you are interested in anything.  Prices are pretty cheap and money is saved if you get more than one thing.  The Ocarina of Time collection is new (Mild scuff on one side from shipping) and the Link to the Past collection is pretty untouched.  Just clearing out a few extra things I really don't need as I continue to focus down my collection more.  I might have a Phantom Hourglass Gel Art piece to put up also if someone else I know doesn't want it.

Off Topic / Power Rangers [Megazord Reveal]
« on: November 06, 2016, 03:01:53 am »
Now I'm not gonna pretend that Power Rangers is untouchable and was amazing, it's aged terribly and it's so goofy, but I still have a soft spot for it and at the time as a kid, that stuff was great.  I grabbed these nice newer action figures they released a little bit ago of the Green and White Rangers which are just great to me.  Would love to find a Dragonzord someday, but man they are pricy.

I don't hate the new suits, they are a little busy, but they have the shape and feel of the original, so I give them a pass.  Better than what we got with Ninja Turtles for sure in keeping true to the material.

The Megazord? Fuck no, they threw everything from the original out and gave us just...This wouldn't look cool if it was completely separate from the movie.

Maybe it translates better in the movie, but damn that looks like ass.  The original Megazord hasn't aged well, it's goofy and boxy, but we live in a time of freaking Pacific Rim.  You can make sick looking giant robots.  All this looks like is a large guy who strapped random crap onto him and then had to pull his feet out of hardened concrete.  Why make him incredibly agile if he has big square block feet?

With Ninja Turtles and this, I just have to wonder who the hell is designing this stuff?  I wasn't really super interested in seeing this movie, but that makes me even less interested.

Marketplace / Looking for PC games.
« on: October 17, 2016, 06:43:42 pm »
Anyone got boxed PC stuff they are looking to get rid of? I know a lot of PC stuff within the past 10 years doesn't actually work due to digital only codes and such, but I figured it's a pretty cheap system to collect for and there's more than a few games I'd like to get collection wise.  I'm open to whatever people might have, but in specific, there are a couple I'm looking for.  I'm really not looking to pay much for these and if they have an option for one of the thicker boxes, rather than normal DVD size, I want those, but this could be a good way to get rid of stuff you don't want.

Battlefield Vietnam
Battlefield 1942 along with the expansions
Battlefield 3
Battlefield 4
Battlefield Bad Company 2
Fallout 3

If you got other stuff that might be cool, feel free to list them, it's just depends on what seems like it might be cool for myself.

Marketplace / Looking for Soldier 76 Funko Pop Figure.
« on: October 06, 2016, 07:40:52 pm »
Normally I'm not into the Funko Pop figures, the only one I got being the Brotherhood of Steel figure from Fallout, but I decided I'm going to grab a few of my favorite figures from Overwatch that are available (Because Blizzard doesn't want to take my money by giving me full quality NECA action figures yet), currently being Reaper, Pharah, and Soldier 76.  Sadly it seems like 76 is Gamestop Exclusive and completely out of stock.  Anyone got one they'd part with?

Modern Video Games / Games with a lot of modern Japanese culture in them...
« on: September 30, 2016, 04:57:29 pm »
Basically I've been on a bigger Japan kick lately, watching someones videos from Japan of their daily life and stuff, and playing "Learn Japanese To Survive: Hiragana Battle" and it's got me wanting to play stuff that has more of the modern culture of Japan in the game.  Like I understand Yakuza has a lot of side stuff related to Japanese life with games and shows and other side questy type stuff, so I plan to make Yakuza 0 my first go at the series.  Tokyo Mirage Sessions has elements for that, dealing with more of the pop idol scene.

There any other games for PS4 or PC that are worth checking out for that kind of stuff? I'm open to kinda whatever, even if it's got sexy girl stuff in it, doesn't bother me as long as it's a fun game.

Just not the game for me, so I'm looking to get rid of it for $45, which includes shipping.  I did offer it to one other person who I don't know if they were serious or not, but haven't heard back, so just looking to line someone else up for it that would like it.  Should know later today sometime I hope.

Off Topic / A movie franchise you can always watch?
« on: August 09, 2016, 06:55:05 am »
This is slightly similar to a previous topic I made a while back of what's a movie you can always put in and enjoy, but after diving headlong into the Godzilla franchise after being away for so long, no matter if I have some issues with the movie or it gets goofy, I'm basically pretty happy watching a Godzilla movie (Except for the Roland Emmerich one), so what are other franchises that you can pretty easily just watch most of them?

To specify, it must be a series that has at least like...5 or 6 movies minimum.  Friday the 13th, James Bond, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, etc.  And you gotta enjoy a good portion of them.  Like there could be a couple overall you hate, depending on the amount of movies involved, but generally even if it's poor, or goofy, you still have fun in the grand scheme of releases.

Godzilla is definitely mine.  I haven't watched Godzilla in forever outside of the recent American one, but after a recent uptick in Godzilla hype from Shin Godzilla and a marathon of Godzilla goodness from Matt at the Super Best Friends I watched, I basically went out and bought 9 Godzilla movies from the last 2004 one to the 1993 Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 2.  It gets goofy and sometimes doesn't look the best, and there are audio balance issues here and there, but I really rekindled my love of Godzilla I use to have as a kid, renting Godzilla classics on VHS from my local video store.  Gonna keep grabbing more too since thankfully all the Blu-Rays are stupid cheap on Amazon.

A new Sonic game in the pixel art style of the classic Genesis games called Sonic Mania.

Coming Holiday 2017, is the new Project Sonic 2017, which is clearly just Sonic Generations 2.

Overall it's kinda what I was expecting and slightly hoping for as I've thought for awhile all they had to do was take what they did with Generations and just make a brand new story and levels in that rather than some whole brand new experience.

Sidenote, that was the worst stream I've seen in a long time lol Audio and visual issues from start to finish, it was a mess.

Something I showed off a good while back on here, was that I was doing perler bead art.  Since then I've done a whole ton of really large and medium sized ones, but to kinda keep fueling new projects, and with how much space I take up, I try to sell certain ones off every so often.  Sometimes I do it locally with a game shop, but I'm looking to sell a few online and this place tends to be trustworthy for dealing with folks lol Below I'll link to my Deviant Art to show off the ones I'm selling.

I am also looking to do commissions as I've done a couple of these and trade before.  While I am looking to make some extra cash for this, I might be interested in doing trades if you have something I really want, as I do have a Legend of Zelda focus going right now, which can include figures and other things. I can't do every sprite or item requested, due to color limitations, time, or complexity, but I'll work that out ahead of time.

Larger pieces do cost more to ship, upwards of 10 to 20 bucks due to packaging and shipping costs (Primarily for Mega Man X right now), so I'm keeping that in mind with pricing. Buying more than one will save on shipping costs and shave off a few bucks.

Hardware and Tech / PC Part/Build Recommendation
« on: July 01, 2016, 01:03:52 am »
Coming up on 3 years for my current PC, aside from getting a GTX 970 not too long ago and with some minor hardware hiccups here and there and I feel like some underwhelming performance lately, I want to look at a new PC build sometime this year.  I might be able to get away with keeping my graphics card, barring it isn't having issues, but generally I'm looking to do a nice update for around the 700 to 1000 dollar range.  So if anyone here is knowledgeable or has a build they are already looking at, that would be helpful.  Pre-built is also okay, but I can manage building my own PC...though not having to do all the work would be nice, so it is still an option lol

Hardware and Tech / PC is locking up, no BSOD
« on: May 09, 2016, 01:44:58 am »
Out of nowhere I'm watching something streaming on Amazon Prime, when my screen locks up, turning just some whitish/peach color (Which may be due to my f.lux screen dimming program, I'm not sure), but I'm not getting a blue screen or anything.  It just freezes, no amount of button pressing does anything, no frozen sound, just silence, and my computer sounds fine, but I'm forced to restart from the tower.

I'm using Windows 10 and if anyone has any idea what is up, I had it happen twice tonight.  I'm not sure if it's related, but lately, Chrome has had this weird flickering thing to it, where it'll flicker abit and once I move my mouse around or scroll up/down abit, it goes away, but it happens regularly.  I just tried reinstalling Chrome and I'm doing a clean install of my graphics card, but I'm unsure of what is going on right now.

Modern Video Games / Battlefield 1
« on: May 06, 2016, 04:22:47 pm »
Anyone a Battlefield fan? They finally revealed the awkwardly named "Battlefield 1" and set it in World War 1.  Very good choice for a relatively unexplored era in gaming, and putting it out amid the scifi explosion right now.  It'll be exciting to experience gear and weaponry I've never used.  I'm hoping it's a darker and more intense game with its setting and the tech they have.

This is some art for the pre-order DLC which is a gear bundle that's based on a group from WW1 called the Harlem Hellfighters.
