Why in the world would they fire him for Paul Anderson?!

Simple... Anderson was likely way cheaper

Also looking him up, he Directed the Mortal Kombat movie so they probably also thought he knew how to adapt Video games into movies... possibly...likely...probable.

Yeah, cheaper makes sense.

Looks like they're making a documentary of the never made George Romero version of the Resident Evil movie. I'm excited!

I so wish that had happened, because he is the king of zombie movies. No other zombie movies can hold a candle to Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, or Day of the Dead. Why in the world would they fire him for Paul Anderson?!

I pre-ordered God of War: Ragnarok for PS4, and while I was there I also got Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD on Switch for $30! I didn't realize it had gone down that much.

I have been watching The Walking Dead series from the start. I only have 4 or 5 seasons on DVD and BD, and I will watch the ones I have but stream the seasons I hadn't seen before. I have 1 on BD, streamed 2 and 3 on DVD. I think I don't have Season 4 and thus have not seen it. And I am thinking that years ago I told people I didn't watch TWD when it was on TV because I had gotten it mixed up with a different zombie related show. Now I can't remember what that other show was called and am hoping that maybe there wasn't another show and what I am remembering is just in one of the seasons I haven't seen.

Great show for the first few seasons. But it overstays it's welcome. Main characters start leaving the series, stories start to feel a bit repetitive. I didn't make it to the end. But don't get me wrong, here, it is really good while it's good.

Picked up Pac-Man World Re-Pac on Friday. Definitely dated gameplay, but still fun. I already beat it. But going back to get a few collectibles in the gane to 100% it.

Lies of P looks awesome. The visuals reminds me a lot of Dishonored

Sonic Frontiers I feel about the same about. Interesting idea, looks like it could be fun, but I'm still a bit wary about it being it's a 3D Sonic game.

And Arkham Knights I'm already onboard with. I have it pre-ordered and paid for. Arkham games are an easy sell for me.

I did it. Pre-order completed.

I feel like this one will be worth a lot if you don't get in on it early. Some choice games in that list. Crusader of Centy alone more than makes it worth it.

Here’s some personal growth. I didn’t order one simply because there just isn’t enough on there for me. I’m not saying it’s not worth it. I just don’t have interest the games.  I’m not buying something just for future value!  Personal growth!

I didn't mean I had plans on selling it. I just want it at $99, not $300.

Where did you do the pre-order?

Amazon. I didn't have to use the Japan site, though. From my understanding, Sega is only going through Amazon.

Took my rare trip to the movie theater and watched Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero and had a blast with it.  I may not be in love with Dragon Ball as much as I use to these days, I feel like Dragon Ball Super wore me down with being generally weak, but we've got some decent movies out of it with Battle of Gods, Broly, and now Super Hero.  The biggest difference of Super Hero is it being mostly CG.  They do regular hand drawn stuff in flashback stuff, but the main brunt of the movie is CG and it's great.  The characters really match close to the classic art style, but with 3D, it lets them do more visually than they normally can with hand drawn.  Some of the background stuff at times isn't the best, but that didn't bother me much really.

The story is kinda cliche Dragon Ball in a lot of parts, lots of convenient "forgetting" and mishaps that you kinda just let slide because it's Dragon Ball , but this movie is about showing  love to classic Dragon Ball and the side characters.  This movie is primarily a Piccolo film, I never expected that to happen, but he's awesome, we get some adorable stuff with Pan, Gohan is nice to see back and getting a push, and I ended up enjoying the villains, particularly Gamma 1 and 2 who are fun characters.  The final fight does fall into that same sorta weak writing that Dragon Ball is known for, which is just bring back a classic villain, because it's all they can think of doing, but I think it works enough in this story they want to tell.

Overall I had a great time with it.  It could be my favorite Dragon Ball movie, passing Broly, because I like it more from beginning to end.  Broly is a good movie, but it's mostly just all setup so that you can have a long ass fight against Broly and I never loved that they used three different animation styles in the actual fight, compared to Super Hero that is primarily all CG and it looks awesome.

I saw this last Friday. It was a fun Dragon Ball movie. Not too serious, but still had some very cool moments. At first it was a little too cheesy, IMO, when the android superheroes show up. Especially the Batman '66 style sound-effects onscreen (which Picollo poked fun at, lol). But it definitely got better.

I hope this means we get more DB Super on T.V. soon. I really liked it. The future saga and return of Frieza especially.
