SEGA is certainly not developing a new hardware to enter a competition against 8th gen in their current state, it's strictly impossible. Even if they wanted to create a new hardware it would never be a "Dreamcast 2", it would be a new name with a new concept, the golden age of SEGA in the arcades is long gone.

Then let's say a real limited edition DC console ? You realize that building a Dreamcast console that can launch DC games require a GD-ROM drive unit that has been discontinued by Yamaha 10 years ago, right ? Unless this Tennessee guy has made a special contract with Samsung to rebuild those antiquated drives you won't be reading a retail DC game in his console.

What would that be then, a "retro-modern" console ala Neo-Geo X with a NAOMI emulator that can't actualy properly work and output horribly upscaled games to HDMI ? A KallistiOS machine that can only play homebrews ?

I love the Dreamcast, I REALLY DO, but please let it rest in the SEGA pantheon now and go on...

You really shouldn't be concerned about this rating thing. In EU PEGI rated Demon's Souls, Dark Souls I, II, III and Bloodborne the same rating of 16.

ESRB rated Demon's Souls, Dark Souls I and Bloodborne M while Dark Souls II and III are rated T, though if you read the descriptions it doesn't make much sense since the contents are really similar.

If you watch the Dark Souls III gameplay you'll see they're using some blood effects from Bloodborne and the game's still T rated so I wouldn't pay much attention to this, it's a Souls game like the others.

Completed recently:

Shovel Knight (PS4)

Cleared the game, no 100%. The game is very hardcore if you want the Platinum, it's clearly speed-run oriented, I'm not gonna invest enough time to try it. Started the Plague of Shadows DLC, it's as much awesome as the main game ♥

Shantae: Risky's Revenge - Director's cut (PS4)

Cleared the game with 100% items, 2 endings and unlocked the magic mode (outfit below). I may speed-run the game for 2 other endings, it's not so hard and a lot of fun.

Driveclub (PS4)

Cleared the Driveclub tour 100% with 225/225 . I can now start one of the numerous the expansion packs. Best arcade racer I've played in a long time.

My concern with Shinobi Legion/X isn't much the "ninja cutscenes" with goofy sentaï-like jumps all over the place, this is kinda cool since its fits pretty well the Shinobi universe even if you're right, I prefer the darker presentation of the first installments and 2D sprites over digitized characters, for me the 2D games aged much better in term of presentation.

No the main problem with this game is the controls are clumsy, the level design is boring, the bosses are meh, the whole gameplay experience is clearly inferior to SMS/Genesis counterparts IMO.

If by Shinobi you mean the 3 first games and Shadow Dancer I would agree but please, Shinobi Legions/X is a complete mess.

I'm loving it!

Intense FPS action mixed with moments of stealth. It's bloody, it's brutal, it's intense, and it's in your face!

The story is awesome. It starts in WWII with you and your unit fighting Nazis. You get injured and end up in a nursing home. By the time you get "healed" and get your wits back about you, it's the 1960s and the Nazis have won WWII and now rule the world. They decide the nursing home your in needs to be shut down, and start killing people. You escape, and realize how wrong the world has become. You end up freeing some war criminals to help you and start up a resistance to take down the Nazi Regime.

One scene in particular really stood out to me: You get done freeing some your resistance fighters from this giant Nazi concentration camp. Just as you go out the front to freedom, the Nazi army stand in front of your exit, ready to stop you. They have this giant robot. Well, one of the prisoners you just freed is an expert hacker. He hacks into the robot, and you gain control of it. The robot smashing the Nazi woman's face that's in charge of the prison. As all hell breaks loose and gunfire is going off around you and people are running around; the Nazi woman crawls towards you and climbs up you. Her face is the camera now, and it's all mangled, with a broken jaw, and missing teeth; just looking all gnarly. She's spitting out at you how you and your vermin comrades will never make it out alive. It was really cool looking, like a scene from a horror movie.

If you have an Xbox One, get this one. It's a lot of fun.

Yes! Beaten this game on PC some months ago and it was definitely a great shooting experience!

100% completed the Old Hunters expansion for Bloodborne.

Added all my boss fights to the video playlist as ususal: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-Q1t_Y2KQTVRnNOLc8lUqXD1Li-E2fcY

I loved the new content, lore and mechanics, some of the new bosses were absolutely thrilling to fight. Some areas were really challenging especially while playing on NG+. Can't wait for Dark Souls III now ;D
