Newegg is having a $20 rebate for the headset. Basically a brand new headset for $2.99 (Shipping). Pretty hard to beat for anyone who need a headset super cheap.

Mondotee is coming out with a The Last of us 4XLP Vinyl. This Vinyl contain 240 music from the Last of us.

It is priced at $75. IGN has an unboxing of it and it looks gorgeous.

General / Sekai Project: Clannad and WAS The Hourglass of Lepidoptera Kickstarter VN

I dont know If Visual Novels would fit in the Classic or Modern topic so I put it in general.
I'm not sure If we have any Visual Novel Readers here but I still have to spread the kickstarter to show my support for these three VN.

First one is one of  Key's (Company) greatest VN are coming out with a official English Release. This is atm the most popular Kickstarter. We have hit the 140k mark in about 12-14 hours which is amazing and we're still climbing.

I see it go for $40-$60 cart only on Ebay. I'm talking with someone who is selling it on CG for 35 but I'm trying to negotiate it down a little. IDK dont have too much money but If its a good deal I'll grab it.

Video Game Database Discussion / Edit Accepted but picture is still the same?

I have been updating covers of some the games I have in the database. Replacing the lazy added covers with my own personal scanned items (I really need to clean my Printer lens because it has a finger smudge that bothers me when I see my scanned item).

Specifically I added Front/Back/Overall scanned picture for Conception II for the PS vita.

Everything got accepted but the front cover is still the same. I'm not sure If I submitted the wrong front cover or thrown under the bush.

Edit: I see my scanned cover in three small boxes you click to cycle through Front, Back, Disc/cart but it doesn't change the cover when I click on the front cover selection box.

Video Game Database Discussion / The Duping Situation

I think we need to find a solution with these duplicate entries. I dont mind pointing out some of them every now and then in the dupe listing. I'm not hating on any New users or Existing Users that happens to add a dupe of Game/Merch/Etc.

This happen with new Users to the website constantly. We can't catch all of them so it stacks up and thus more work for Mods to delete them. I dont necessarily think we need members to have the power to delete entries.

Someway to improve this adding/search for existing entries/ETC function so we can make finding Point A a lot easier rather than making Point A Version 2.

I'm well aware this is a lot work for the Mod because they have a life & etc, but this is a major flaw that should be in the top of our priorities. This is a "Video Game Database and Collection Management System" kind of website but it's flawed if people can't always find the games that are already registered.

This isn't to make my life easy/convenient or anything but to make the website better.
 
This is not a rant but more so expressing my opinion. I'm thankful for this Website/Forum but I just want it to be perfect and make it the best out of all of them. 

If something similar to this has been already posted then disregard this post and keep it in the back of your head. Thanks

Off Topic / Music CD/Vinyl 1st Press/Limited Press & etc

I been lately collecting more Music CD & Vinyl but I lack the knowledge in releases and how to identify such things with "catalog #". I'm not even sure If I use that to identify anything related to 1st press. I did a fair amount of research for any topic related to this but they are all very narrowed into something or very vague.

I need knowledge from people who collect CDs & Vinyl.

How to identify If it's first press? Does the # rep. anything towards it or does it say it somewhere specifically?

>1st press - Is it true that quality of the music will drop to a certain extent after 1st press? or did the Cd creating software/industry gotten so much better that it's almost identical? I heard some people saying nowadays its harder to tell the difference but it really matters to the company producing the CD. Is it Worth spending few extra $ for 1st Print? As a collector in general it's tempting to get the best of everything when it's cheap rather than lately when it will kick up in price.

Modern Video Games / Super Smash Bros 3DS Midnight release for Gamestop.

Most Gamestop should have a midnight release for it.

There has been news about Bestbuy having one, it's not true only Gamestop will have Midnight Release.
I got my preorder during one of Bestbuy's Demo Session with Smash. We dont get a Midnight Release but we do get a metal coin.

There has been people with the copy of the game because USPS delivered a day early for some people (I have peers in the Smash community in Georgia with their Copys). USPS is a team player for getting the game to people even before Nintendo World 8pm early release.

Video Game Database Discussion / Do I submit it the same as everyone or make a new one? SMT Nocturne

SMT games are known for having soundtracks for their 1st Print games. For example I have nocturne with the Soundtrack (1st print). Did everyone with nocturne (1st Print) just add the regular Nocturne file and write in soundtrack @ the notes? I wanted to make sure before I make a 1st print edition for it.
