Multiple times throughout my life, my parents have 'had a go at me' and will often target me playing video games too much.  As of recently I've caught onto the fact that while they're saying these things, they go back to sitting on the sofa watching TV, using there smartphones and Kindle.

In the end, every time the subject of "Video games are bad for you" comes up.  It just makes me so much more passionate to stand by the community firmly.

So with the rarity of a bunch of these Amiibo, does anyone have any comments on the quality of Shulk?

Again, I had no input on any of these descriptions, I though it would make this seem a bit more official.

I feel like I'm being told off here, do you want to slap my wrist and send me off?

ZombiU Wii U [EU]

PAL - http://vgcollect.com/item/70248

USK PAL (Item is more complete)- http://vgcollect.com/item/70248

Do these count as separate versions???

Those both link to the same thing. I'm guessing you didn't mean to do that, but you might want to fix that so an admin can give you a proper answer to your question.

Woops! These duplicates are getting confusing.

i really want to learn mr game and watch.

I'd like to say I'm pretty competent with Mr. Game & Watch, but boy do I have a rough time with him in 'For Glory'. Being one of the lightest characters in the roster doesn't help at all.

He really does require some patience to figure out his match-ups.  In fact, I've had some pretty close matches against Meta Knight.

That might be my OCD kicking in, I just don't like leaving item fields empty if I can help it.  I feel like I'm being a hassle, I'm sorry  :-[

An original description, I dunno about that that seems kind of opinionated.  I've been getting descriptions from original sources.  I've added a few yet-to-release Nintendo games recently and I've been getting descriptions from the Official Nintendo UK site, along with patching up a few grammar  mistakes if they've cropped up.

Is that not what you're looking for in a product description.  I suppose some of them can get a bit long.  BTW, Is there even a word limit of some kind

The thing is that rather than looking at each game as a product new off the shelf like your average game critic.  I'm looking at these games from a game design point of view, as an art form arguably.

Just look at AVGN, he doesn't often rip into how much of a game is a waste of money, but more of how pissed off he gets at the games.  You notice he often brings up the cost of a console or peripheral since he's critiquing the physical item too, and usually when he brings up his experiences with various consoles and games.

I often buy games used, so I don't bring price to playtime into the equation since I didn't pay the full retail price.  That may be why I have a bit more tolerance for the likes of Rayman 3 since I bought it really, really cheap.

I get what you're saying, but back when these games came out if you played it before, it was at the arcade. The only walk through you had was a couple months later after it appeared in the latest VG&CE, EGM or Game Pro. Most games back then didn't have a side quest either. As a kid, I would never buy a game that I rented or borrowed from a friend that I already beat.

I feel like arcade games come into there own classification here, at least back when arcade were big on the scene.  You may of had the chance to see other people playing games, testing the water so to speak for whether you'll have a go.  Your time and money investment is minimal compared to buying console games at retail price.  Unfortunately I was never on the arcade scene really.

I might not have been clear on this one, lets just say we're buying new, about 1 hour of gameplay is an issue with me.  But the point was that people were panning LM because is only had a length of about 5-6 hours.   ???

Hey guys!  Remember Sonic '06?  That was a great game wasn't it? I didn't lose my mind playing it or anything... that story and campaign was SO riveting in fact that the game makes you play through it 4 times, each with it's own 'specialties' for you to experience.   Don't forget the loading screens, that should add on a couple of hours too.  That should extend the playtime right?  That should make the game more bearable right?  We all felt like we got our money's worth with Sonic '06 right?! :o

I'm sorry if this came over as malicious, but that should put into perspective what I meant exactly, the length of the game can suck one if everything else surrounding it is utter garbage.

That's the problem I have with this, when I hear people saying "I completed this in just X hours", I'll ignore this from judging the games quality overall.  I can understand if a game is absurdly short and brings nothing else to the table and leaves you with a half-assed experience.  The price doesn't concern me too much as I'm buying a lot of second hand games as of recently.  In the case of Luigi's Mansion, I think I picked it up for about £15

For example, who said these people haven't:

1. Played the game before
2. Looked up a walkthrough
3. Had a lot of experience with the genre
4. Have the time to complete the game in one sitting
5. Ignored any side quests, multiplayer game modes or other content.

On the off-chance, does anybody remember if LM was ever bundled with the Gamecube?

The Anniversary collection was never released in Europe, I would've gotten it otherwise.  I know it sucks

A while back I was looking into the selection of Mega Man games on the PlayStation, I've heard questionable stuff about Mega Man 8 among the rest, but it's still pretty hard to find for a good price, this is PAL region by the way.

Browsing Amazon for said game.  The description was pretty blunt about the supposed condition "disc only, scratched badly, but still plays fine... " something to this affect, the game was priced at £65!!!  Far more than I've ever paid for a new game, and yet the worst condition USED game that I've ever considered buying.  Naturally feeling this is a pretty bad deal, I bartered with the guy, bringing him down to £45 as well as holding him to his refund promise, I still had a bad feeling this was gonna backfire.

few days later, the 'CD and plastic wallet' arrived in the post.  Well, he wasn't lying, that disc was in horrible condition.  Nonetheless, I popped it into my trusty PSX and long behold, the game wouldn't start.  So then Step 2, the PS2 REALLY didn't like it, scrapping sounds scare me.  Alright last resort, the PS3 was actually able to play the game and everything seemed fine.  Beat the first 4 Robot masters and the plot develops, move onto another stage of which there was no music.  I think I reached a boss and the game crashes... good.

I tried restarting the save, and the exact same thing happened every time.  You bet I made a beeline for my laptop to get my money back.

This purchase already went against my purchase condition 'include a case for CD-Based media, or else it's a no-go".  Even if the game hadn't been damaged from excessive use, the lack of a case means that the game's exposed to the world, you can just see the game buried among a bunch of discarded old DVDs without a care.

Glad we are getting a proper Wario.  I've always liked him, but I hated his motorcycle gimmick, which is what his Smash Bros one will be.

Urhh, I've had pretty rotten luck with this new wave of Amiibo,  I already blew my chances of pre-ordering Lucina, but I was able to put in a pre-order for everyone's not-so-favourite character Wario.  I've enjoyed a few Warioware games, but I do have a soft spot for Wario Land so I do prefer his original design.   :P

So to follow with my rotten luck, there just had to be an overall design Wario Amiibo shown off recently... uurghhh
