This one wasn't really 'poorly received', but it was criticized for just one real reason.  This game is great in my opinion, especially for a launch title.  But alas...

Luigi's mansion was criticized for its short length.

I disagree with the length of a game being held against it like this, unless it's so short that there practically isn't a game.  But as long you're enjoying the experience, then the length of time invested into a game shouldn't matter.  Does anyone see the length of the game as a valid complaint towards the original Luigi's Mansion?  Does it really dumb down everything else that the game provides.

Also, if you're a fan of ratchet and clank, they have some pretty nice Japanese box art for most of the games.  I especially like the HD trilogy box art.  Might be of an acquired taste though.

I remember a while ago I was searching for some Game Boy games, and I came across this:

I dunno, it looked interesting enough at the time

Regardless of whether the market is saturated with poor quality games or not, even the biggest franchises and high profile developers / publishers can throw out a complete mess of a game if they make just one bad decision.  With the ever increasing standards of practically every aspect of our lives, bad games will stand out like a sore thumb.

As long as just a few people can voice there opinion, with the internet at our finger tips, the rest of the world will find out, and they will rip the game apart.

Well in the video, he said "It's not for sale, so don't bother looking".
I think he also mentioned that there are several copies, and that they probably won't be able to sell it, containing Capcom property and what-not.

I don't think there are any exclusives amiibos in Europe, though ever since wave 3 went up for pre-order, I have yet to see King Dedede available outside of Japan.  Is Dedede really that popular???

Rayman 2 is one of the best 3D platformers ever made and deserves to be mentioned with its peers of the era, Banjo Kazooie and Mario 64.  Rayman 3?  There is no Rayman 3.

I'm on the fence with this one, I honestly think Rayman 2 is quite overrated.  Yeah, the music is great and the levels are fascinating, but the combat is extremely basic and the game is very forgiving, I don't remember much about the bosses.

I'm in a weird position with Rayman 2 see, I kept coming back to the game every few years, never really owning the game until a lot later and finally finishing the game.    ???

Then Rayman 3 came along with a bit of a "Whatever" attitude.  Yeah the story is convolluted and random, the reward system is more forgiving than 'Get every lum in the level, otherwise you get nothing'.  It developed on the non-existent combat system, there more than 1 variety of enemy with various weaknesses, requiring you to think, get involved.  While the bosses were a bit more memorable, they were memorable for the wrong reasons, they took way too long, outstaying there welcome.

:-\ I don't know, I just feel like Rayman 3 was judged harshly because it wasn't Rayman 2.

I looked up Rayman 3, the GBA version has the highest average critic score, a 2D platformer, coincidence?

I haven't played any other games in the Star Ocean series, but I picked up 'Till the end of time' a while back.  The game gets off to a very slow start, before you get to do anything.  Navigating through the menus with the battle segments takes some getting used to, meanwhile I felt like the attack input is imprecise.  After a while, I was able to somewhat efficiently using just a small portion of the dauntingly complex battle system.

But then an AI character joined the party and all of my abilities went to hell out of sheer confusion.

Then just a few asinine field controls later, I shut off the game and have yet to return, it really did leave a bad taste in my mouth.

urhh, I thought I'd be able to control myself, but the Amiibo have won me over.
I 'challenged my fate' but they were sold out.

Meanwhile the Scalpers are making me mad.  I hate the fact that the new waves selling out so quickly are making me question whether I'll get the chance to buy one ever again.

Fragile Dreams: Farewell ruins of the moon is a game which has won over my heart, FINALLY kindling my true artistic side.  It's a little hard to explain, but I love this game for what it's helped me accomplish within the real world... I know, that's a little deep.

I can admit that this game does have its problems, the writing and themes unfortunately do overshadow the gameplay greatly, so it is a bit of a mixed bag at its core.  Using the Wii remote to aim within smaller rooms can be quite awkward at times.

If you like the mysterious themes of Silent Hill but are simply too terrified to go near the game like myself, and you're a fan of Anime/Manga art style.  Then this game should be very welcome within your collection.

I've always been interested in the Rayman franchise, I've heard great things about Rayman Origins, and I really enjoyed Legends.  Meanwhile, I finally managed to 'finish' Rayman 2 out of the 2,000 ports of the game I got my hands on.

Rayman has always had a comedy theme about it, not necessarily taking itself too seriously.  That continued through to Rayman 3...

Does anyone have any opinions on Rayman 3?
