Well, Thank you, and I understand the frustration. While doing this I tried again to get my 2nd account working and I still can't change the password.

If you do what I suggest, you should have it done in like 5 minutes though (As long as you know your current password). As far as how long will it be before they change it again? IDK. that's not anything we can control. It's inconvenient and a pain in the ass, but it is what it is. You can get back on if you really want to, you do need to take a few minutes to do so though.

Modern gaming, with internet, accounts, $$ involved, etc just don't mesh with the "plug in and play" way we used to play games. There are a fair amount of retro gamers here for a reason!

it might and then what?  its bs I need to waste time  using unreleated devices just to use the device I bought fairly.
I just wanna iuse my system  to play games  not having to use other deviced I might not own just to be able to use said device.

for the vita when I bought it It needed a memorycard and an charger thats it. they cant just change the rules like this and realy you shouldnt defend this bs in the first place.   either way this discussion wasnt the point of the topic

to me the fact of the mather is I cnat use my vitas anymore I talked to sony directly and the employe told me I was screwed as well thats the fact of the mather sadly

I wasn't defending any of this stuff... like I said, I can't use my 2nd account because of it. I guess I'm the one who really wasted their time trying to help you get your vita working. Sorry you waste more of yours too I suppose. If you are this insistent that you are screwed, you are screwed.

It should also say, OR visit the following URL to get started. It than give you a link on where to go.

OK, but You don't need to use the QR code. I never did. You just need to access PSN's website with your account.

Log in to PSN website
Go to security settings
then scroll down to device setup password.
It will generate a random password (That's the printed code I mentioned earlier, I needed to refresh my memory on where you got it)
Log into your vita with that password, (enable auto- sign in) and that will allow you to use your vita again.

No Phone
No QR Code

Not sure why they tell you that you need a phone.

If you already know your normal password, it's quick and easy. My problem is that I didn't.

I never once used a phone. I used the printed code via my PC instead of the QR code (You get both, and can use either)

Sony really came out of nowhere with that stuff, and it's still a mess for me, but you def don't need a phone of any kind, as long as you have access to the internet (And your email address)

I have 2 Sony accounts, and i couldn't recall the passwords for either. Password reset has stopped working since this all began, so I'm still locked out of my second account (I remembered my main account password). My brother has been locked out of his Vita too, since he can't recover/change the password. Since it's only a secondary account I haven't bothered, but if you really want to get access again you are likely going to have to contact Sony.
You can technically play physical games without your account, but previous saves are associated with the account (Maybe all, IDK).

if you do sell off your stuff, you would get more selling individually. If you have something cool like a complete Vita collection maybe consider going through an auction house.

Best Buy has been selling LRGames for over a year at least. Are you sure the pre-orders aren't LRG's? I have maybe 10-12 LRG's and I've never ordered from them, just bought them in store at Best Buy.

They currently have a ton of games available for online purchase as well.

Edit: Here are their current LRG pre-orders. All the ones you mentioned are here.

I'd most likely keep whatever the stuff is. I tend to have relationships end on decent terms, but even if I didn't I would be able to separate the object from the person. Now if they tried to murder me or something, that may be different...lol.

I just watched "Sorcerer" with Roy Scheider. While it was pretty good, but I felt the way the story started was too jumbled and could have been way smoother. It did have some great tension.
Roy was outstanding as ever, and the soundtrack was ahead of it's time.

I've recently picked up a DVD copy of Hulk 2003 from the thrift store, and I noticed that disc 2 contains a demo of a level from Hulk on Xbox. I was curious if something like this would be allowed in the database, since it's technically a demo of a game. And if it is, how would I go about titling and formatting it since it's kinda unique in that it's a DVD movie with a game demo on it? Here's some images of the case and disc: https://imgur.com/a/M17BjAW

Now I have to dig into my DVD's (Boxed up since I moved) and see if I have that...I actually might.

I would think it should be allowed here, but beyond that IDK.

General / Re: Does Anyone Else Sort Their Games By Genre?
« on: April 05, 2022, 05:02:10 pm »
That would make things way too complicated, IMO....at least with a larger collection.

Generally, I keep all my games alphabetically by console. I DO separate games that require peripherals however.

Ex- Xbox 360, most games alpha, but I do have a few that are separate: Kinect Games, Music Games (Rock Band, Guitar Hero, etc), and Toys to life games are in little "mini" groups.
AKA if It can't be played (though I know some music games can be) with a normal controller I separate it.
Like...My PS4 VR games are not mixed in with the rest.

I certainly think if you really focus on certain genres this can be helpful. I just have too much for that to be effective (Well, for me anyway)

I've got quite a few games where I own copies on multiple platforms. Typically the main reasons are:

5) I forgot I owned that game

That's when you know you have a lot of games  ;D

I have this site saved on my phone so that when I go into a used shop I can see what I already have...so many times that's saved me from buying something I don't need haha

I often buy the same game across consoles of the same gen, just because. I do like to get achievements and trophies. Remakes, you bet. PC versions too...sure. I have no problem having multiple versions of games on other consoles.
