In all honesty I didn't listen to them much after the whole Napster fiasco. But years later I got the bug to listen to them again and they are back to being part of my playlist.

On an on topic note. I ordered a couple Special Edition characters , the 1st expansion and an add on pack of dragonlings for Super Dungeon Explore. Hopefully it all comes in soon.

They actually received a lot of backlash over ...and Justice for All.  The songs were long and from a technique stand point far superior to their earlier works.  So they dumbed it back down on Black, and continued to really dumb it down up to St. Anger.

Yes, I do own Kill'em All -> Re-Load.  It's just that Justice happens to be the only album I can listen too completely without being bored as all hell.

I like And Justice for all ... but the black album will always be my favorite of theirs. I can listen to every song on that one. And I also like King Nothing and Unforgiven 2.

The Black album was my 1st real Metallica experience. I slowly bought the rest of their albums over the following years and I'd say that Justice is my all time favorite, followed by Master. I am a huge fan of Cliff Burton though and usually if I start up my Metallica playlist the 1st song I play is Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth).

The other day I found some lint that looked just like James Hetfield's beard.  Speaking of James Hetfield, how awesome is Metallica?  Take away that Mission Impossible 2 song, and the rest is gold.  I'm even down with St. Anger.  Every album has something to offer.  What's my favorite, you ask.  Welcome Home or Battery or Fuel.  I can't decide.

I don't like them, never have, but jeez, you guys act like it's the end of the world because I really don't like them. It should've been really really obvious that I was going overboard, guys. I'm not that mean.
